Fandango has debuted the first full trailer of Tyler Perry’s latest comedy “I Can Do Bad All by Myself”. Still centering on Perry’s well-known character Mable “Madea” Simmons, the two-minute video gives more than what the teaser has previously offered, and shares glimpses of other major characters, Taraji P. Henson’s April and Adam Rodriguez’s Sandino.
When tough-talking and pistol-packing Madea catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April. But, the heavy-drinking nightclub singer, who lives off of her married boyfriend Raymond, wants nothing to do with the kids.
However, things start to change when Sandino moves into her basement. Making amends for his own troubled past, the handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work challenges her to open her heart and puts her face to face with the biggest choice of her life: sticking to her old ways with Raymond or embracing new possibilities of family, faith and even true love.

Aside from the trailer, a brand new poster from the comedy movie has also been put forward. Courtesy of Cinematical, the fresh one-sheet takes a close-up shot of Madea’s face. In a black and white tone, the poster focuses on the shattered glasses worn by the eccentric character.
“I Can Do Bad All by Myself” is another feature film adaptation from Tyler Perry’s plays following “Madea Goes to Jail.” Starring Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight among others, it is expected to open in U.S. theaters September 11.
