It’s funny how some of yall take these rappers and their music for more than what it is. Music is BUSINESS, the albums are a product and nothing more. Beanie Siegel was an employee, him and Jay may have been friends on some level but the fact still remains that he was an employee. The good times come to an end and people move on. Beans needs to take what he’s learned, move on, and try to do it better this time around; there aint no need to worry about Jay. I listened to his interview, he didn’t have a manager and he didn’t have an accountant…why didn’t he see fit to get one? There’s plenty of people that have come and gone before Beans and gave solid advice about the business, most importantly to learn the business before you dive in head first. Beans crying about Jay not wanting to take responsibility for his whereabouts to get out of jail is just crazy and a smart move on Jay’s part. I for one would never put myself in that type of situation. Bail Bondsmen do that, what would have stopped him from running when he got out knowing he was facing time? Do you think that your employer would take responsibility for you to get out of jail or come visit you? I doubt it, more than likely you won’t even have a job. I can recall a song in which Jay said “Beans, I aint trying to change you, just give you some game, to make the transition, from the streets to fame” Maybe Beans should have paid attention to that advice when it was being giving and just maybe he would have never landed in jail or be talking shyt after all these years.
