Very rarely do I listen to a mixtape I enjoy. Chris Skillz “Mind Of A Genius” is one that I enjoyed from first track to last track. The jazzy beats and thoughtful rhymes brought me back to the days of Pete Rock And CL Smooth or Gangstarr. Rather than glamorize violence on the street. Chris Skillz’ lyrics analyze crime and show its negative affects. Skillz just signed with Reggie Hudson’s State City Music and has a very bright future.
