Well we need more comic books, video games, movies, and cartoons that depict black superheroes in a positive manner and in a leading role. As a kid coming up, all I saw were white characters always being the main hero or a black character here and there playing a minor role. Heck…with all the martial arts movies…you saw your fair share of asian heroes as well. So the Black Panther cartoon is certainly nice to see and worth giving a chance. I hope many black little boys and girls get a chance to see this and enjoy it.

My only problem is the venue-BET. Yes I know it’s supposed to a TV station for blacks, but BET isn’t known to show cartoons…let alone any type of children’s programming. Now, I am a little familiar with this title and can confirm it’s not a kiddie title at all, but not to the point where it’s unsuitable for kids. But still, black teens and adolescents are not big cartoon watchers, and I think this would reacher a broader audience on something like fox kids, kids wb, etc.

Looks promising… I hope it is good.
