I like JayZ because he’s still keeping it real with his lyrics. I’m starting to wonder if the hiphop world is becoming to “commercialized” (sp) to even rap about what’s real any more. I miss Public Enemy, KRS1. Ice T, Ice Cube and all the other “ole heads” as some people call them. You guys really need to go back and listen to the “ole heads” as some of you call them and listen to what hiphop is really about. I understand that like everything else music have to change but dayum, don’t knock the people who help put hiphop where it is today. Show some respect. Some (very small amount) of today rap is nice but most of it is really lame. Keep doin what you do JayZ. People say he’s lame but the man know what he’s doin. And another thing, Drake’s video is in very poor taste. I’m tired of our young adults being so “nonchalant” about it. I agree that videos have been degrading women since forever but two wrongs does not make it right. Your little sister or daughter will be watching this video. This is a nice song, wouldn’t it bother you if your little sister or daughter wasn’t happy with herself after seeing that video because she was so wrapped up in Drake. RIP Micheal Jacksone, there where some things in his life that was very tragic but his music will always be alive. His lyrics will always be strong. And yes he may have had a “grabbing crouch” moment, it didn’t last long so you can’t compare that to some of the stuff that’s going on in some of these videos. I guess sex sells, but how far will the music industry go to sell CD’s WAKE UP PEOPLE AND THINK.

At least four of my friends who live in various parts of the US went to see him on that same tour and they were ALL completely sold out in less than a day.

Jay Z is very gifted lyrically. His problem is what I call “clanging gong syndrome”. He says nothing. He admits as much on The Black Album. Then, when he tried to say something meaningful, people didn’t feel him. That’s why he made “Ignorant S**t” with Beanie Seigal (sp?). Jay Z is the pretty, dumb, blonde model with double d implants of rap. Nice on the surface but absoluely hollow.
