What exactly did he have that was Grammy worthy? Did any of his singles chart in the top of the charts? How well did his album sell? These are questions he needs to ask himself before he gets upsets. I think he has a good point and legit concern. He’s doing exactly what most of us would do, if we’re not recognized for the work we produce in our occupations. His job is in the music industry and recognition within the industry and amongst peers leads to more work and other endeavors. This is the same in corporate america, military, or within our volunteer efforts – we all like to be recognized.
I think he should considered that he has a way to go in terms of being recognized as a viable and marketable artist. He clearly knows how to write hits and help others to get airplay, but hasn’t quite achieved the ability to set himself apart from other male artists and become recognized for his work – maybe next year…

Its like work…sometimes good workes are overlooked. If he really loves what he does he will continue to put out hits and make them realize he is truly worthy of a grammy nomination for his own music. To me the answer is EASY. He sings as good as Snoop dog, T-Pain and Akon. He can’t really sing to me, just write and produce. Also,why does alot of his LOVE songs have the word “S**t” mentioned it?
