there isn’t a damned thing sexy about this woman..i get sick of being pressured into thinking a black woman is beautitul/sexy because she is non-traditional…
SHE CAN SANG AND THAT IS WHAT MADE HER FAMOUS…THE GIFT THAT GOD HAS GIVEN HER….MICHAEL JORDAN IS NOT KNOWN FOR ANYTHING ELSE BUT BASKETBALL, TIGER IS KNOWN FOR GOLF, SERENA AND VENUS…TENNIS, MICHAEL…….DANCING….. WHAT WILL YOU BE RECOGNIZED FOR? THE BIBLE SAYS THAT YOUR GIFT MAKES ROOM FOR YOU…THIS SIMPLY MEANS THAT WHATEVER GIFT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU, IT SHALL MAKE PROVISIONS (IE: YOUR NAME SHALL BE GREAT, PEOPLE SHALL ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR GIFT AND ALSO RESPECT YOU, POPULARITY, FINANCIAL SECURITY…)FOR YOUR LIFE TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS AS WELL AS GOD!
BLESSINGS AND PEACE

Brush the hate off angie…love your music and yes we already knew for years that her and d’angelo have a child together….
To me she is Pretty. and she kept them boobs while trimming down! you go girl get it get it get it!
sad that african americans can not see the beauty of their own people EVEN if its not their PREFERENCE of BEAUTY.
and its beautiful* and what is a traditional black woman???
who is trying to fit our many colors, textures, sizes and shapes into a mold???
you let a society dictate what beauty is, and this is the same society that said models had to look like “twiggy” that beauty had blonde hair and blue eyes, not earthy skin and full lips.
the same society that got half of us bleaching and narrowing our skin and noses.
African American women often find themselves under pressure[citation needed] to conform to European aesthetic norms. Still, there are individuals and groups who are working towards raising the standing of the African aesthetic among African Americans and internationally as well. This includes efforts toward promoting as models those with clearly defined African features; the mainstreaming of natural hairstyles; and, in women, fuller, more voluptuous body types.[66][71]
Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder and we each have our own concept of beauty. I personally think she’s beautiful…gorgeous almond shaped eyes and full lips. Her individual facial features are nice so ugly isn’t a word I would use for her (or anyone else for that matter). She looks like a lot of the strong black women in my family and probably a lot of yours. I often wonder if we were able to keep all her features the same but lighten her skin would half the people calling her ugly still feel the same? Darker women are judged harsher….
Key thing, especially for us “AA’s”, we need to loose the weight. You can look great, sexy, or beautiful but that does not mean you are healthy. Take smokers, drinkers, or anyone that engage in a unhealthy lifestyle, your only cutting life short. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but factor in having a stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and more. Just a thought.
