RUMOR: Did Jay-Z Shut Down Chris Brown?
The internet is going crazy with rumors that Jay-Z is the one that shut down Chris Brown’s Michael Jackson tribute performance during the BET awards.
The Twitter account above is allegedly from one of Chris Brown’s back up dancers, but this story seems somewhat ridiculous. What would Jay-Z’s motive be behind denying a Chris Brown performance? What would he have to gain or lose? Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe BET executives changed their minds because they wanted to focus more on a Michael Jackson tribute rather than a Chris Brown comeback?
Why is everyone always trying to tie Jay-Z to Chris Brown? Remember when it was reported that Jay-Z called Chris Brown a “walking dead man” and said “he messed with the wrong crew”? That was later proved to be false, and doesn’t even sound like something he would say.

I agree with Jay-Z. Rhianna is somebody’s friend daughter niece cousin and sister. There are people who care about that was there and to have Chris Brown perform like nothing happened would hurt and angered a lot of people. Plus this was a tribute to Michael Jackson and with his appearence the attention would be diverted to him not the rememberence of a world icon. He is on trial for beating the hell out of a woman, forget who is he and remember that if he wasn’t rich and famous there would no retribution. He would have been locked away with no second chances and no chances to redeem himself. People need to remember that celebrities bleed just like the rest of us so stop makin excuses because they a couple of songs or movies you may like. They should be above justice.

I’m not taking any sides but he has already been punished by the courts for his actions, so they should have let him perform it had nothing to do wit her at all. Nobody was in that car but them so nobody knows what really happened but those 2 and she even admitted to hitting him first while he was driving. And she admitted to the court she too was cheating and she told him after he found out at the awards show. That does not justify what he did but women shouldn’t be able to hit a man and get away with it. They both need help, and him doing a tribute to the KING OF POP should not have been stopped for any reason. Look past what he did and be a bigger person you can’t punish him forever. Good. I’m glad that he got shut down, because it would’ve made me sick to my stomach to see this loser make his “comeback”. As far as I’m concerned, he will NEVER get another dollar from me, and I will NOT support his career. I’m tired of abusive men taking advantage of women. It would have been nice to see a Chris Brown tribute to MJ, just like MJ, he shouldnt be judge for his mishaps or certain situations, the boy is talented and would have done a great MJ tribute performance.
