It looks like all of Drake’s bragging and lyrical genius has paid off! The singer,rapper and actor won the “Songwriter of the Year” award at the BMI awards last night in Hollywood. During his acceptance speech he thanked his mother, uncle and “called out” Universal Motown’s Sylvia Rhone who told him he would never make it!
