I like Alicia as an artist, but I don’t condone getting with a married man and I don’t care if his marriage was on the rocks, she could have had enough respect for herself and Mashonda by not consumating the relationship with him while he was still married on papers.

I applaud you Mashonda baby that is what a real woman do no matter if you are black or white. It sad how the kids suffer when adults are so caught up in their own bulls**t that they tend to forget what is more important at the end of the day which is that child or children. Just because men and women decide to part ways they don’t realize that your children respect you more when you can come together and act like you have sense and still raise them in a loving environment. Just because we get together and make plans to be together forever is not how things may end up being no more than you leaving for work and making no plans to die but in a blink of an eye that can happen. You take the good with the bad and as black women it is better to leave with the same class you came in with than leaving any other way that is going to have a negative reflection on you and your kids. It is true, like any other woman who has been jilted they go out and try to fight, slash cars, get their utilities shut off etc lol but she was a real woman about it all and like she said its about her son and she don’t let anyone by her son no matter who they are. I’m glad she finally shut this chapter in her life so she can move on. And i agree with her how can a good stable relationship work when it was created through infidility? My opinion: I can’t say I feel sorry for Mashonda. She is not the only woman in the world to go thru this. Swizz has massive CHARACTER FLAWS. He violated every vow he made to HIS WIFE. He treated her like a dog because she repeatedly accepted it. She SHOULD HAVE DIVORCED HIM WHEN HE GOT ANOTHER WOMAN PREGNANT? That was the ultimate disrespect especially after she lost their baby.

I don’t blame Mashonda or Alicia, the brunt of the blame lies with Swizz. He should have fully closed the door with the wife before getting into ANYTHING else. I also feel that Alicia should have at least stood her ground and said, I won’t be with you until that door is closed. Now, I’m sure Mashonda is not innocent in this. There were rumors of her infidelities as well. So, this whole thing holds so many sides,how could WE possibly cast the first stone??? The children in this situation is what’s most important.

Glad that she finally has made peace with what went down with her and her ex ,even if he’s moved on to another person. We all have to live and learn. He should have ended his marriage before moving on to another woman,but he didn’t and now he has another baby on the way by Alycia Keys , his new “It “girl. Some women think with their hearts and not their heads. She should have demanded that he bring closure to his marriage before continuing in the relationship with him .Whether or not he will do her the way he did his wife remains to be seen.Its always “all good” in the beginning. He was unfaithful to Mashonda before Aylcia Keys came into picture , and she remained with him, even after he impregnanted another woman during their relationship. I totally understand her wanting to sit downand have a talk with Alycia, because she is with Swizz currently and Mashonda and him share a child, that will likely spend alot of time with Alycia. I loved this story. I am a huge believer in not judging folks until you know the whole story and that is how I felt about AK, SB and the Mrs. I felt like people where jumping to conclusions that they didn’t know all the details about. I think Alicia doesn’t understand the consequences of believing ALL of a man’s story. She’ll find out. I think Moshonda was being fair and being a part of the industry, using her connections to tell her side. I get it. She understands now, what Alicia will find out later. I guarantee the other woman who had his first child, will tell the same story Mashonda is telling. The story that Alicia will tell at some point. It is what it is and he is who he is.

My opinion is that Mashonda is right, but she f**ked up from the get go. Women need to learn how to use common sense. I don’t know many men that will hurry and marry a woman who is still dealing with their child’s father in some sort of way. Then Swizz uses his son he had before Mashonda as a reason the marriage failed. He alleged that Mashonda tried to keep the boy out of his life. She probably suspected him of still being involved with the boys mother(which was probably true). In any case, karma is real and effects 100% of the people that go against it. My whole opinion of Alicia has changed. I used to adore her image. She had such a wholesome image before it was alleged that she became sloppy seconds to a philanderer. Men who have multiple children by multiple women are just as tacky as the women. I don’t care how much money you have.

i dought alicia sat there and said nothing through the whole dinnner/meet.first of all u wouldnt b confronting me about anything.if u wanna talk to me then will do it over the phone. being a bitter x but she claims she isnt.the thought of yr man being with another woman do and will geto u.

I read the article and it was kind of messed up how everything went down but who I don’t know his side of the story…but as far as who is she…she was with him for 10 years and she is a singer and she was signed to Columbia Records but I guess her career flopped and his got big…she did make a note that he changed and started acting Hollywood on her….so maybe he felt she wasn’t on his level…but I feel like she stupid for not leaving him the first time…she knew he was out there…I guess the only reason it’s a big deal now is that fact it’s Alicia Keys and that s**t is all in the public…

I think SWIZZ had a HUG part in what is going to happen with his son & present lady/fiance’ (Alicia).
