NEW VIDEO: Kelis’ “4th Of July (Fireworks)”

Kelis finally released her video for her single “4th of July (Fireworks).

Kelis is usually as strange as a “Gothic” teenager sitting at the lunch table with jocks and cheerleaders, but she actually managed to calm it down this time(don’t get me wrong- she is still weird). Her new video is set in a scorching hot desert, and to top it off she has on a gown with one long sleeve. I think the song is pretty terrible, what do you think?

    The lyric are actually pretty good but could be better with stronger vocals. Remixed this could be an amazing house song…her makeup and wardrobe (except the bodysuit) is absolutely gorgeous, a desert goddess in the gold asymmetrical dress
