  • http://www.blackplanet.com/SenorCafeDa2nd/ SenorCafeDa2nd

The old rappers are around my age.

When I was coming up in the 80′s all the best rappers were in their teens. Rakim made paid in full when he was 18, Kane was around 18 or 19 when he dropped his first album. KRS1 was in his late teens when he dropped Criminal Minded, the same with NWA the were in their late teens early 20′s.

The youngings of today just make corny ass bubble gum rap.

Damm I’m starting to sound old.

    Get off my lawn

someone asked “why is there a age limit for rappers” Because at a certain age, you should be pulling your damn pants up over and not under your ass. At at a certain age, you should realize that “beefing” with another grown man is just stupid.

I guess that’s why JayZ says “30′s the new 20.” Grown ass dudes acting like a punch of young dummies. Get your money and sit the hell down.

Im 29 and still rhyming,, and ill do it till the day I die. Just because a nigga is old dosen’t mean that they have to stop rapping. Michael Jordan retired from the league, but we all know he still plays ball. Let it go age is just a number

Here’s my thing these niggas getting old so who have they mentored to take over when they gone???? They not gonna be able to move a crowd when they 50 rapping..That’s just the way it is..Music is like sports…Better invest though the money is good the career isn’t longterm..There’s no pension or retirement fund..U have to do it on ur own…Instead of being greedy they should be looking to invest money in young talent…duh…

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/grownman49/ grownman49

You mention “pulling up your pants” and”beef” like that’s “Rap”
That’s the street element that has entered the game and not every body on that list is cut like that and at the same time we see these brothers suited, civilized, let’s not mention performing for the President. It’s our culture Hip Hop.But it was the same way with Jazz, Rock and roll.
