Thst is sooo true,Mayo, and if you listen to Jagged Edge’s 2001 song ‘Goodbye’, auto tune is in the run of the song. I commend T-Pain for bringing back nostaglia..it’s not his fault people in the game tend to follow rather than lead. Jay-Z is right, some of the rappers need to get back to rappn, but T-Pain didn’t make them do anything they didn’t wanna. It is what it is. Jay-z be already rocking.Hopefully that the auto tune stuff is only temporary.I understand what its like from an artists point of view(Im a producer).I just feel like the auto tune works well on singers because of long notes and harmony.Its way way better fx that can be used with a rappers voice.Maybe in the future.
