On Monday January 5, Harlem rapper Jim Jones appeared in a New York City police precinct to discuss an incident that occurred on Christmas Eve.

Allegedly, Jim Jones and/or members of his entourage got into a scuffle with Ne-Yo’s entourage at the Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Specific details on the incident and those involved still remain somewhat sketchy and neither of the parties involved have spoken publicly on the incident.

I don’t wanna talk about that,” Jim Jones told MTV News. “Nah, we not doing that, let’s stop that right there. Let’s not do that. We above that.”

According to reports, one of the members of Ne-Yo’s entourage who was involved in the altercation was Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith, a business associate and friend to rapper/entrepreneur Jay-Z.

Although Jim Jones did appear at New York’s 18th Precinct on Monday to discuss the alleged altercation there is still no police report of the incident.

In similar news, Jim Jones is planning on releasing his fourth album, Pray IV Reign, on February 3 and he recently released Jim Jones & Skull Gang Present A Tribute To Bad Santa Starring Mike Epps late last year.

The details regarding the whole incident are sketchy in this article. However, I just wonder when these young men will realize that behaving like uncivilized idiots towards each other just aint the way. And colliding with the police and judicial system at the street level is childish yet detrimental. With all these millions of dollars being generated from the art, you’d think they’d find something better to do with their time. Or is it just me?

Only a B-itch Azz “you know what” would pick on someone that wouldn’t give them a run for their money. Tell that punk to run up on someone like E-40.

let’s just say that young black men that are always crying about struggling make it and it’s okay to stay the same sometimes but don’t get mad when you get caught up in b.s. because you are giving the people that expect you to fail ammo to use against you by doing ignorant things cause when you really look at it they just become thugs or criminals with legite money. sometimes change is good.but most put on a fake front of change. lata

Well seem to me these guys need to take a long look at their lives before they were sought out to be able to make money in the rap and r&b music
industries because they wouldn’t have it if it wasn’t for that reason. Life is short and they are very blessed to have that voice. So instead of
using this to their advantage to better their lives they are fighting and arguing with each other over nothing that is of any importance to them or anyone else. They should be living their lives and thanking god they are were they are today as young black men because others black men are really struggling in this world just to make ends meet.
And leave the dum bulls**t alone in the past and keep it moving in a positive way for others black men to see.
