SO WE DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY, HELL HONESTLY I HATE THAT THEY ARE DIVORCING BECAUSE THEY MADE A GREAT COUPLE. PLUS I DO BELIEVE THAT NAS IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL FATHER. JUST HATE THEY DIVORCE.

i am a women and personally i think 45g’s a month is ridiculous. i understand the spousal support, and the child support but how did they come up with those figures. she has a career, she makes money so where is the need for them to require that amount of his money. in my opinion the system dont care about the women (kelis in this case) the judge (whom is a part of the system) was just looking at this situation as an opportunity to stick it to nas. why? because nas is one of those real rappers like 2 pac, and jadakiss he raps about things that affect him, and people in the community. he (nas) sheds light on polical issues, his music makes people think, and ask question and they (the system) would like nothing more than for him, and people like him to go bank rupture and fall off the face of this earth. i mean look at the tyrese divorce she came out with pretty much what she went in with, which was nothing so why is nas being financially raped?

on another note these women know what there getting themselves into when they marry a famous person especially when they live the life because they themselves are in the industry. they are aware of all the groupies, and travling these men deal with, so why act surprised and run for a divorce when you find that the groupies have caugh up to you. people should simply avoid marriage when dealing with fame, and or simply just deal with it (the issues). i in no way shape form or fashion condone cheating, or sleeping around, and i hate women who sleep with men knowing they have a family, wife, or a girl but fact is when your famous, or have money the men are more targeted and they could have the purest intentions on being faithful however these women are beast, and men are weak when it comes to fighting temptation. so when or if you decide to get married in the industry you have to have tough skin, and keep the attitude “he’s mine you may have had him once but i got him all the time”.
marriage is becoming a joke people are taking it too lightly. it’s suppose to be a forever bond through thick and thin, death do you part. people should not be getting married 3 & 4 times. my message is take the ring off the platter for awile, stop rushing into marriage. date until you know what you can, and cannot handle because divorce is becoming way to prominent. people are changing partners like they change there cloths (which is very often).

For those of you that do not know..the 45k she gets every month is based on Nas monthy income during the time they married. No judge really cares how much it really takes to raise a child. The fact of the matter is…this is what celebrities go through durring divorces. Just know that there are two sides to every story and people just don’t get divorces out the blue for no reason at all. Things do happen. Its just sad that they did not work things out. But again he is a rapper and he was the bread winner durring the time they were married thus she gets spousal support and being that they have a child yes she gets child support.

All in all, i think the amount the judge gave Kelis was excessive and 50K a month is not necessary for a baby.
