Omarion Dropped From Young Money

Two months after being signed to Young Money Entertainment, Omarion has been dropped from the giant recording company. Spilling the beans about the matter is the label’s president Mack Maine on his Twitter which reveals that Omarion is fired because he has allegedly leaked his duet song with Lil Wayne.

“ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money … the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future,” so Mack wrote. Shortly after that, one of Young Money’s artists Jae Millz re-tweeted Mack’s short message, apparently trying to emphasize that the news is not a rumor.

    If you sign someone who can bring you in money, you don’t fire them because a song leaked. WTF Lil wayne didn’t make it big being a business man, he made it big rapping, and i’m guessing he just put friends in leadership roles in young money who don’t have any expertise in making sound business choices.     I really thing Young money was not a good fit for O anyway… I really don’t think Young money is going to be around for very long either. I know there are a lot of haters right now but lets face it…Out of Young Money the only guys any one really cares about is lil Wayne and Drake….I think the other guys will be washed up after they stop playing “every girl” on the Radio. Omarion is still a young artist and he needs to be somewhere where he can grow and stand out at the same time. At Young money he will just be sing hooks for lil Wayne or those other guys….. Honestly I don’t think Drake fits with Young money.. He would be better off with out them as well. Young Money will just hold him back….So O look at this as a good thing….
