RUMOR: Is VIBE On Its Way Back?!

Look out Q, word on the curb is that a company called InterMedia Partners is close to purchasing the trademark of VIBE. InterMedia currently owns the Soul Train catalogue and UPTOWN magazine. If the sale goes through it’s rumored that Len Burnett (pictured above), a former VP of VIBE, would be placed in charge and the brand would indeed relaunch as a website. We’ll see about that. Ha!

I renewed for a two year subscription with a year left and nothing. I think they handled the closing of the magazine poorly. They could have at least sent out an e-mail to all of the subscribers as it would have been cheaper than sending a notice by mail. I really could care less about Vibe. I would never support any type of re-launch or re-invention of it.
oh fuuuuuck a goddamn website! im still waitin on my refund for my subscription. i wanted that michael jackson tribute issue!!!! so damn the magazine to hell
