Ok, i have listened to this show and i do believe he was only joking.

Umm Jay Z is like the richest artist out there so far. And werent they dating 5+ yrs before they even got married…I believe she made an informed decision-far from spontaneous or lack of fore thought. And Jay-Z is not a thug hes a business man. He has like umpteen companies and owns a sports team. Beyonce is doing better than about 90% of the population when it comes to decision making or choosing a mate. Now if we’re basing her decision on looks or good genetic features-then thats a whole other story. But since she chose him for status and success(and prob. good sex) I think she made an extremely wise choice.

I may have agreed to a certain extent with Tom years ago when B first starting dating Jay. But through the years I have seen that Jay has matured a tremendous amount. His music has changed, his style has changed; he has definitely matured for the better! B is definitely a good look for him and since he’s been with her he has definitely evolved. Her acting is mediocre. I was shocked and mortified when she played the living legend Etta James in “Cadillac Records.” Her take on “At Last” turned a classic into a mess that I would ashamed to say I sang.
