After hearing what Soulja Boy said I feel all he wants is that respect. And hopefully he gets it in this crazy industry built on dime store beats and the showiy displays of gold teeth, sample hooks and sorry rap lyrics with horrible adlibs. I guess nobody wants to hear the real message of hip-hop anymore all they want to do is dance and snap they fingers man. Nas is right hip-hop is dead but it’s spirit is immortal so who knows we might see hip-hop move into the future this time hopefully with real rhymes that speak of life and beats that catch the soul.

Would like to see him do well but be smart.
