well to be honest it shows how bad of shape the game is in. Think about it Jay retired…had a classic beef with Nas…dropped his man Dame…Married Beyonce…lost artists from the Roc…yet he is still probably the most relevant rapper now after all that. there was a time when rappers were so hungry to the point where if a legend retired it was hard for them to get back to the top. examples Rakim Allah, Slick Rick, LL, to some degree Nas.
