Minnie Ripperton was and still is my favorite female singer. She was classy, yet still sassy at the same time. I wish some of the female artists of today would take notes from her. I love how A Tribe Called Quest sampled her song “Inside my love” on “Lyrics to go”. Still one of my favorite songs of all time.

When I was a kid, about 2 or 3 yrs old, whenever her songs would come on, I would literally start crying and bawling, especially on “Loving You”. I knew who she was before I knew who she was, if that sounds right. Minnie, you musuc continues to inspire and reach us all in ways only you know about.
