Depends whats in the clause of $2 million. Thats easy to make back. All he has to do is sell 200,000 copies. Hell Rich Boy went Gold (500,000 copies certified RIAAA) off of one hit single! So just off a buzz @ $10 off itunes he can sell 200,000 copies and they will get that 2 million back. With that being said, certain clauses can be like, they want half of his publishing, royalties, and own masters. With all of that, I would turn it down. If he was really smart, he would get his own distribution and put his ownself out through Tunecore.

The last time I saw hype around an unsigned rapper like this was when 50 signed to Interscope, but 50 had put in madd work years prior and had a huge underground catalog of work before getting signed to a major label, and even had a album released before hitting pay dirt.
