Chris Brown’s Manager Denies Affair Allegations!

By The Urban Daily March 12, 2009 5:45 pm

The father of Chris Brown’s manager is denying reports that his daughter is the author of a three-page text message that Rihanna saw on his phone just before their violent incident on Feb. 8.

TMZ reported that Davis, 39, is the person who texted the singer on the night of the incident, referred to in the police report as “a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.”

But the manager’s father, George Davis, told E! News that the latest speculation surrounding his daughter is simply a rehashing of rumors from 2007, when she was reported to have carried on a romantic relationship with the 19-year-old Brown when he was 16.

They were saying that before. Those are old rumors,” Mr. Davis said.

Brown’s camp has long denied that that the singer and Davis were ever romantically involved, releasing a statement to Vibe magazine in November 2007 that said, “Chris Brown and his manager, Tina Davis, have a strictly professional relationship. …Ms. Davis has been instrumental in helping Chris achieve success as a multi-talented singer/dancer/actor. Rumors that the relationship goes beyond a working one, are not only patently false; they diminish her efforts and his undeniable talents.”

Tina Davis herself is striking back as well. She has authorized her attorney, Marshall B. Grossman of Bingham McCutchen LLP, to issue the following statement:

The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports. If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.”

Southernlady1 you are right americans are nosey which is why you read this post and no about chris and rihanna. awfully hypocritical of you to say that anyone should mind their business. As I recall I do remember hearing about Linsey lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole richie, Andy dick, Mel gibson, and countless others. White celebs generally go to jail for some sort of substance abuse. Not the case with black celebs. Yes, racism and prejudices still exist and they do occur in hollywood and media.

americans as a whole are really frikin nosey. it is not our business whatever happened between chris and rihanna, or what’s goin on/was goin on between him and his manager. i dont agree with domestic violence, but after reading another internet blog, i do wonder why the “black celebrity gone wrong” needs to be the example and not the exemption to the rest of america that celebrities cannot pay their way out of criminal charges. furthermore, why dont we hear about any other ethnicity when they have trivial illegal matters, but when a black celebrity does something slightly (or majorly in this case) out of order in comes the “press circus”? i know people always pulling the race card, and that this is 2009 and we should move on past it. clearly race is an issue that will never die in america.

and that’s all i got to say about that…

Well, it isnt really for any of us to say what the truth is because we dont know…But the fact that he beat her we do know and by her going back to him is an indication that she really dont mind what he do to her just that he in her mind wont be with other women by going back to him as a way of saying see now u owe me for this..so dont cheat/beat me again. But it only give the man who beat u right to do it again because she ‘allowed it the first, second or third time’

i don’t eexactly what went on behind the scenes with chris brown and rihanna but it can be more to it than that i just know they showed chris brown after the arrestand he looked perfectly fine. they showed rihanna and she looked horrible. any man who can do that to somebody doesn’t deserve to get them back as for tina davis the police report said the texts were from her so she seriously needs to being a chicken s**t and own up. when it comes down to it this is all her fault. be a woman people are getting hurt by this

Could this be becoming cd sales fodder ? I dont’ think it will hurt sales of a strategically titled and timely released cd. Inquiring minds want to know. Let your thoughts be known at http://groups.blackplanet.com/web2phonetextchat

I cannot lie. Tina Davis is very attractive. I don’t have a judgement as to whether or not her and CB got involved, but people do need to mind their own business. Chris beat Rihanna…true, but how much do we really know? Why do we even care to know? Now everyone wants to throw Chris Brown and Tina Davis under a bus? Why? Do we as people need something to talk about so bad we delve into other people’s lives because our own lives aren’t worth the paycheck we bring home every two weeks? Pitiful…purely pitiful!
