    When I was a kid, about 2 or 3 yrs old, whenever her songs would come on, I would literally start crying and bawling, especially on “Loving You”. I knew who she was before I knew who she was, if that sounds right. Minnie, you musuc continues to inspire and reach us all in ways only you know about.

    Love her….my man hipped me to her and I’d heard her be4 but never knew her name and now I can’t stop thinkin about her voice.R.I.P Miss Riperton

    I love how A Tribe Called Quest sampled her song “Inside my love” on “Lyrics to go”. Still one of my favorite songs of all time.

    Minnie Ripperton was and still is my favorite female singer. She was classy, yet still sassy at the same time. I wish some of the female artists of today would take notes from her. She wouldn’t compromise her skills for a dollar bill. When Pepsi asked her if she would do a commercial for them she turned them down. R.I.P. Minnie…
