Wyclef & Nick Cannon Rap On ‘The Death Of Mr. Auto-Tune!”

On the heels of the release of Jay-Z’s “Death Of Autotune” rapper/producer Wyclef Jean and Nick Cannon have released “Mr. Autotune”.
At a time where autotune seems to be becoming less popular, “Mr. Autotune” pokes fun of the current music craze.
In the song Wyclef sings, “I’m Mister Autotune/ If you sing off key/ For a small fee I can make you a celebrity…Then all you gotta do is pay me/ And I will turn this thing into a karaoke party you’ll be a superstar.”
And Nick Cannon adds more comic value to the parodiable song with adlibs like “I wanna make money” and “Do I need singing lessons?”
Although Wyclef has been working on other artist’s albums recently he has not released a studio album since Carnival Vol. II: Memoirs of an Immigrant which was released on December 4, 2007.

What’s wrong with auto-tune? Really? As if the human voice isn’t modified in a recording studio anyway…..it’s call ‘producing’ and that’s what producers do, you give them your raw, unadulterated talent and they adulterate it for ya. I promise that Auto-Tune won’t die until Anteres( the company that manufactures them) ceases to turn a profit, but as long as the industry is ga-ga for it then y’all needz to get over it.
Wow…Anytime I see “Nick Cannon ‘rap’”..the whole thing becomes a little questionable. They need to keep puttin the word parody out there, so we (the listeners) kno to take it as a joke and not jus s**t on Nick..lol
