R. Kelly Denies Child Predator Rumors!
R. Kelly has been seen as a child predator by some after his previous case and recent news from The National Enquirer gave fuel to that fire. The Enquirer recently printed a report, stating that police searched Kelly’s home in search of a missing 17-year-old girl. Now, R. Kelly’s reps are responding to these allegations with a statement [click here].
“A wildly exaggerated and inaccurate report has been circulating on the Internet that Olympia Fields police showed up at R. Kelly’s house with a search warrant just before the singer left for his three-week concert tour in Africa last month and then searched the place looking for a missing 17-year-old girl,” the rep said in a press release.
“This is completely false. No police ever showed up at Kelly’s house with a search warrant nor was his house ever searched. It is also not true, as the unsubstantiated report claimed, that any such girl ever stayed overnight in Kelly’s house or that she had been there but left shortly before some mythical police search.”
Now, some may still wonder if Kelly was involved, but the release also adds that he is all for cooperating with police on the matter.
“Kelly’s attorneys have informed the police that they will cooperate fully with any investigation.”

I think the sad thing about these reports whether it’s R. Kelly, Micheal Jackson or even Rihanna is that it appears most people aren’t staying on the current topics at hand. This situation sounds like a vicious rumor. If R. Kelly didn’t do anything wrong leave the man alone. He was acquitted of his charges in the trial, and though he was proven innocent people still say he’s guilty. I guess you will be happy if he’s dead too… oh wait, then you’ll front like you’re his biggest fans. I’m not saying that R. Kelly is an angel, in fact no one on this earth’s surface is an angel. Everyone has some kind of quirk, whether it’s a big or minor. Ok I gone off on a tangent, but the point I’m saying is that the media has a blood lust for people when they’re down. If you decide to judge try to get as much facts as you can first before you do.
