BREAKING: Former Titans QB Steve McNair Murdered

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.
The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Avenue. The call came into police at 1:35 p.m. A crowd began to gather in the area where Steve McNair’s body was found Saturday afternoon.
“When police officers arrived in response to that call, they found two individuals who had been shot to death inside the residence: one female, one male. We now know that the male deceased is Steve McNair. The female deceased has been tentatively identified. We’re working to confirm that and then notify her next of kin,” said Don Aaron with Metro Police on the situation.
That female victim’s identity was not released as of 4:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
“There were persons who were around the complex today who have been taken to headquarters for questioning,” Don Aaron explained. However, he made it clear that there were no suspects in custody at the time.
According to Don Aaron with the Metro Nashville Police Department, no suspects have been taken into custody. Several people were being taken to police headquarters for questioning.
Titan’s owner ‘Bud’ Adams Jr. released the following statement on the Titan’s web site:
“We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair’s passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing.”

No love for the adulterer. Loved him when he was with the Titans. My prayers go out to his kids and wife. NOT only does she have to deal with the violent death of her husband with whom she thought she was happily married to, but he has to also deal with him being a lair and cheater. So sad. I think that it is a shame. What is is doing having a condo with his friend. He is a married man. My blessing is for his wife & her 4 kids. He was creepin & secret is out!!!!
even if he was sex starved at home he still shouldn’t have went out the marriage. not saying he was sex deprived. but marriage and dating are 2 different things. when you are married you make a promise before god to stay faithful no matter what. this was a murder-suicide i think. homie did not want to leave wifey and the jump-off wasn’t having it.BTW people married men do not usually leave their wives. what you see on tv is just a few. it is not rampant like people think. if you look at people you know there will not be many who have done that.

Reneagemeni76 : its not about the race, atleast not for me. I hate that he died but it looks bad for him to have been with his girlfriend and very disrespectful to his wife and kids. The story changed in one day from that being his girlfriend in her condo and “their” Escalade with both of their names on the title to the condo being his that he share with a guy friend, to that being his”friend” then the neighbors do not wanna respond to who she was. I mean think about it as his wife would you want this to happen to you , you find out your husband is cheating with a another lady at the time of his death..This information I did read on here and on CNN and I saw it change within a day.
RIP Steve – another great loss… and to everyone cyber ‘arguing’ about who did what – what difference does it make at this point?! Let the police do their job in determining the FACTS. I understand we’re all entitled to our opinions, but you shouldn’t automatically place blame because someone is black, white, asian, indian, etc. That’s what’s wrong w/ society now… RIP Steve – my thoughts and prayers go out to this family now in mourning.

I said nothing about dating and I do understand that because I work with Mid-eastern people. The point I’m trying to say is if a white person came up here saying something like that about blacks, blacks would be all over their ass. I said that what the person I said below was racist. I work around Middle Eastern people all the time. Just because you some on TV, resulting toward violence doesn’t mean all of them are like that. That’s what one of my co-workers was saying the other day. That’s just like saying all black people are lazy and have babies out of wedlock and want to get on welfare.
