lol how did I know Beyonce would be the first name to pop up. Thats because yes, she is beautiful and talented and I love her with all my heart, one of her biggest fans…the girl cant act though. I always try to give her the benefit though on each movie, her acting doesnt come across as natural. Now as far as Jlo I beg to differ, she did a great job in Selena and Enough. Rhianna, come on lets give the girl a chance. And Mya isnt that bad, she is just soft spoken.

Now Jlo was an actress (and dancer) before she was a singer and Selena was the role that really introduced her to the world. Yes she has had some bad movies but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the girl got talent on the big screen

Instead of us black women celebrating another black women because she is so successful and she overcame the obstacles that were placed to deter her, there is the opposite going on. The woman cannot be stopped nor will she topple.

This list has zero credibility with J Lo on it. I also disagree about Beyonce. I didn’t see obsessed, but I thought she did a pretty good job in Carmen: A Hip Hopera. I refuse to watch anything the other 3 appears in, unless its’ a cameo.

Beyonce’s performance in Obsessed was generic she should have left that one alone. Her roles in Dream Girls and Cadillac Records were good but she didn’t have to step put of character too much.

Why everybody so mad cuz somebody called Beyonce out for the actress she really is lol? She can’t act. Just cuz she’s been in roles where she’s had to play the pretty girl who can sing doesn’t boost her credibility it just shows she was smart and played it safe SOOOOOOOOOO BEYONCE STANS PLEASE TAKE A DEEP BREATH, CALM DOWN, AND HAVE A SEAT :-). J Lo damn sure can’t sing so she should stick to acting. I saw a preview for a movie the other day that had a pretty solid cast until I saw TI was in it. I admit TI was not horrible in ATL but from the preview of his new movie, he is way above his head and talks like a robot in the new film with Idris Ilba.

I heard a famous black actress (Nia Long) say in an interview that Beyonce and singers who are trying to act take away a lot of the black female roles…not that there are that many out there anyway.

Beyonce: She was horrible in all of her movies except Dreamgirls (where she played a lead singer in all girl group-she didn’t have to stretch her acting muscles too much for this one and Cadillac Records-which was a horrendous movie. The fact that she’s taken acting classes and still can’t act is a big strike. She couldn’t even act in “Telephone”
