clearly not the animal rights advocates posting here…dude that was talking all about meat-eating mcdonalds shoppers doesn’t know too many PETA supporters obviously, they’re pretty much all vegans and don’t sport leather or eat mcdonalds “food”.

Big issue with furs is related to the treatment of the animals as they are raised for their fur – not sure there’s a big difference between that and animals raised for meat. All that being said, I think if you’re grown enough to kill ‘em and cook ‘em, you’re grown enough to eat ‘em, but if the idea of killing a cow, pig, chicken, etc. grosses you out, maybe you should consider becoming a vegan too.

Personally, I can remember visiting a slaughterhouse when I was a kid, so, I have no issues on that front. On the other hand, going vegetarian is more helpful to the planet then driving a hybrid. So I don’t eat meat anymore – I got kids I care about that I’d like to have a decent planet when they get older and my doctor says it’s better for me.
