Blacula (William Marshall) is, was and will always be the coolest vampire EVER. If you don’t know, you’d betta ask somebody.

what about People Under the Stairs?

  • 11-2-2009 12:53 am

Tales from the hood and Def by temptation, are the best.

  • 11-2-2009 12:42 am

sugar hill should def be on the list and a rare one not too many know about is Abby (the blk exorcist)

half of this sh it on this list is a joke.

  • 11-1-2009 11:30 pm

man half of these films is not a horror flick

  • 11-1-2009 9:50 pm

MAN HALF THEM MOVIES I AINT NEVER SEEN BUT LIKE SNAKES ON A PLANE WAS FUNNY AS HELL THO

  • 11-1-2009 9:00 pm

I agree only like three of them was on point seems like all the Top 10 lists here suck lol ;)

  • 11-1-2009 8:15 pm

I have NEVER heard of “Leprechaun in the Hood” or “Snoop Dog’s Hood of Horror”. These must have been STV (STRAIGHT TO VIDEO) movies (LOL). Snakes on the plain was so LAME…nothing scary about that one. The best on this list IMO are “Candyman” (THE ABSOLUTE BEST on this list) and “Def by Temptation” & “Tales from the Hood” as runner ups. Not a good list (aside from Candyman)…not good at all.

  • 11-1-2009 6:50 pm

Bones and Leprechaun in the hood were two of the dumbest “horror” movies ever made!

  • 11-1-2009 6:46 am

omgawd do ya remember the lil black dolls smh scary lookin things from tales of the hoood smfh @ buyin them @ general discount i hate when ma moma buy them flashbacks come in lol

  • 11-1-2009 6:07 am

yea ya right tales from the hood, candyman, def by temptations Classics!!!!!!!!!! Born in da 90s when those movies came out yay!!! Leprichaun in the hood never heard of that hmm..

  • 11-1-2009 4:38 am

U may as well throw in Night Of The Living Dead, Tony was in that too

  • 10-31-2009 8:43 pm

Def By Temptation was a classic. Damn near everybody from Spike Lee’s School Days was in this. Plus the chick was a demon that would f**k dudes brains out then kill them. lol. That’s where the movie “Jennifer’s Body” got its idea from. “Candyman” is boss. Tony Todd is the man.

This list is garbage, “Tales From the Hood” was pretty good and “Candy Man” is a classic (in the hood or otherwise). But “Bones”, “Dr Black, Mr Hyde” And “Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror” hardly qualify for any top ten list. I don’t know what you’re smoking, but perhaps you should raise your standards. (”Snakes On A Plane”?) Is that even a horror movie? I saw every movie on your so called “top ten list”, and you really need to trust me on this.

  • 10-30-2009 8:38 am

Snakes on a plane was not a hood horror film. I wouldent even claim that one. But yeah Tales from the hood, bones and A vampire in brooklyn are my fav. movies on this list.

    This list sux

Why does the caption reads top ten Hood horror? The ignorance of the title alone. I guess if you see your readers that way that is what you will put out? Please, we need a new editor.
