SKIN DEEP: Chyna

Not to be confused with the steriod-stuffed female wrestler, this Chyna is much smoother around the edges and MUCH easier on the eyes. A native of the Bronx, NY Chyna jump-started her modeling career when she was discovered by a Teen People magazine rep outside of a Making The Band audition. Since then she’s been a local television host, toured with Katt Williams and will be featured in a music video called “Cuff Ya Shorty” buy up-coming artist, Flawless.

Darkberry1………You know well that I posted Skin Deep is geared to men, I did not say BP. And bare in mind YOU are the one whom posted “a sista is tired of BP”. With that in mind yourself and anyone else who reads these post, read all of them and read them within context. There are only 17 at this point.

The oxygen channel is geared toward women I dont debate that, but following your logic- are you saying BlackPlanet is geared toward men..cos I was thinking PLANET was all inclusive…

I did not complain about skinny models at all. What I was saying is that it seems the only requirement to be a skin deep model is that you have to be skinny BECASE all these women look pretty regular.
Also, BP has men and women so I dont understand why they are perpeturating this to men, u can see more T&A by looking at some of these pages, that’s why I’m not understanding the need to promote a girly mag on BP. There are enough horn dogs on here as it is.

Stop complaining about “skinny” models. Is a “real” black woman Tyler Perry in drag? Put a magazine out like that and it would not reach the demographic that “Skin Deep” is reaching for, men.
hmmm, i guess im a little underwhelmed. yes of course she’s a pretty lady but nothing extravagant. her face is pretty, she has nice lips, but it’s not that special in my opinion. her body isnt evn that great. newho, i’m definanty happy 4 her…i just dnt understand the hype…..

seems like anyone can be a skin deep model…as long as ur skinny.Most these models resemble people I see all the time…LIA CHA is the only one that stands out to me, then they made her look stank by getting the T&A shots.Im tired of society and esp black societey saying u aint a dyme unless u show ur shyt…this is old forreal- Im so tired of BP further perpetuating this crap.

Well, in my opinion (Meaning no harm but this is my job), if shes wanting to be the next ‘big video model’ she needs to work out alittle more. You all are right, her facial expressions are the same. Kinda dull. But she is a very beautiful complected girl. But the industry is looking for legs and stomache and her stomache is kinda…you get the picture. But LIKE I SAID, she is a beautiful woman. No harm to her.
