Aren’t those commercials for prescription pills scary? The side affects are scarier then the things they are trying to cure. Since they are trying to legalize marijuana, shouldn’t weed get its own commercials? I’m just playing, I’m saying.

I completely agree with cestleon! That’s all the weed debate is about. Prohibition doesn’t change the demand, it only changes the supplier. Making weed legal is not going to make more people smoke it (for example alcohol is legal, yet there is a significant number of people who don’t drink at all) but they will have to give up all that revenue they get for arresting people that are normally productive citizens. I smoke and I have a job, my own apartment and car no kids and do lots of volunteer work for not only NORML but a charity called Shoes for Orphan Souls (please check it out). But if they do legalize, I would be the first to do a weed commercial. For free!
If they legalize weed its the beginning of the end. Not that I’m not for it but MORE den alot of s**t would change!
I think the main reason y the gov won’t legalize it is becuase theres no way to measure the intake. Versus alcohol n even some prescription drugs where u can use a breathalyzer or draw blood.
You could NEVA found out how many blunts a man smoked, except 4 a piss test dat lets u kno its n his system…But all real potheads don’t have a problem admittin that!!

I would say DE-CRIMINALIZE and tax it. but there’d probly be alot of regulation with it….”liscences”, rules/regulations etc…..
however if it was homegrown people could make money off it and the state would get they taxes off it n erybody is str8.

I honestly dont want mary-jane to be legalized because like tobacco it will be taken out da hands of our local weed man… its goin to b produced by cigerette companies who have already made marijuana cigerettes and have them stored waiting for them to be legalized. they r goin to dumb da same s**t they but in cigerettes in da weed like rocket fuel, rat poisoning, battery acid and da list goes on. i think we should keep it like it is and for people to stop gettin caught with it!

The medical industry makes more by having people strung out on THEIR medicines (and placebos). Weed being illegal brings in more money from busts (court costs, fines, resale after a crooked cop raids the evidence room). That’s why it’s illegal. Uncle Sam doesn’t give a damn about the safety of the populace. 911 was shining proof of that. But since Obama was a dopeboy in college he should quit screwing around and legalize it already! And Flarez, I would love to do the whollistic thing, but it’s costlier to live “healthy”. Can you agree with that?

if weed is legalized alot of companies will be put out of business. i saw something on youtube. marijuana is wild tabaccoo not cannibus. also weed/hemp can be used for so many things like paper.so when the newspaper mogul heasrt found this out he had negative things printed in his paper about weed being so harmful. he owned a papermill and had alot to lose and also weed was said to make black men rape white women but as we all know they were willing.pharmaceutical companies will be put out of business as well. i don’t touch the stuff but if it will help people i say legalize it.
Weed and Pills have one thing in common; after 6 months you’ll get side effects that will make you feel WORSE, like nervous disorders, respitory infections, etc. Think of how many commercials you saw that people too those prescription pills and suffered some life threatening illnesses only to sue the manufacturers….too bad you can’t sue those peddlers who sell weed…..
weed has toxins just like any drug. it causes cancer just like cigarettes.. the toxins that you inhale aka the smoke is carbon monoxide and posionous gas you dumb f**ks. something that alters your brain is not safe..
I think ppl should use the product according to thier needs. Cancer patients should be able to use it. It sooths the pain. However, ppl can also use it socially. Ganja makes some ppl sleepy and some hungry and some it gives energy to. Ganja gives people the muchies and the first thing they wanna do is eat something sweet. It lowers your blood sugar.
ikno of ppl that died of lung cancer n never smoked infesima n never smoked , i also kno da u must be an adult to make a decision in regards to medicly using sometin. and anythin u do too much of can be bad for u no mater wat da is. so be responsable and be happy….

America has a DRUG mentality though. drugs dont keep you healthy they only temporarily mask the external symptons.
your thoughts/emotions, natural/holistic diet is what keeps you healthy….. there are MADDDDDDDD herbs that heal.
the intellegence in our body DOES NOT know the different between what the Doctor gives you from the what a DopeBoy gives you. a drug is a drug.
but herbs are living and have intellegence in them by nature, so our body can reconize them. you not going to Overdose from no herbs…

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANYONE TO DIE FROM SMOKING WEED-HOWEVER IT WILL MAKE A PERSON EAT YOU OUT A HOUSE AND HOME…YOUR KITCHEN WOULD BE THE ONLY AT RISK OR EVEN HARM.(LOL)AND BY THE WAY-I DON’T SMOKE AND I HAVE HAD PRESCRIPTION DRUGS BEFORE AND AFTER YOU READ THE SIDE AFFECTS YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO TAKE THEM EITHER. WHY TAKE A RISK ON GET’ING 1 PROBLEM BETTER ONLY TO END UP WITH 7 MORE RISK? WHICH LATER IN LIFE YOU FIND OUT THAT THE PAIN YOUR IN CAME FROM A SIDE AFFECT-OF A PRESCRIPTION DRUG YOU TOOK.
