They should have kicked him out the league for sh*ttin in a teammates shoes. But seriously,I found the TIMING of the suspension to be suspect. Right before the game between Cleveland and Washington. Obviously with the rumors of Shaq sleeping with Gilberts fiancee, this is the game I definitely wanted to see. Obviously David Stern wanted no part of this possibly “ugly” confrontation. And he suspended Gilbert accordingly. I just wish he wouldve waited at least one more game. If it was all about the possible police investigation of him bringin the guns to the arena, then the suspension should have happened weeks ago. But the other “theory” is, was Gilbert gearing up to shoot Shaq? hmmmmm….Makes you wonder.
