It will be a battle of Disney World vs. Disney Land. For the first time since 1995 the Orlando Magic will represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. Behind Dwight Howard’s 40 points and 14 rebounds the Magic closed out their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a decisive 103 to 90 win. Lebron James scored 25 points in the loss and 1 point in the second half. The Magic will now face the Los Angles Lakers this Thursday at the Staples Center for Game 1.
Though the Magic led for the entire game Superman was cautious in the victory stating that, “We’re not done yet.” The last time the Magic went to the finals in 1995 they were swept by the Houston Rockets.
In their regular season matchups The Magic were 2 and 0 verse the Lakers, but the Lakers have home court advantage in the finals.
Fan speculation has begun already about whether Lebron James will stay in Cleveland when he becomes a free agent in the 2010, what do you all think? Let us know in the comments!
