Emmitt-Smith-Hall-of-Fame

On Saturday August 7, 2010 seven NFL veterans were inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith, John Randle, Dick LeBeau, Rickey Jackson, Russ Grimm and Floyd Little were each fitted with a coveted yellow blazer.

Rice, a record-setting wide receiver who was drafted by the San Franciso 49ers in 1985  told the crowd that at 47, “I still believe in my heart I could play today.”

Emmitt Smith, considered by most to be the best running back to play the game, was very emotional in his acceptance speech thanking his teammates and his father for their sacrifices on and off the field. Watch each of their memorable speeches below or read the full transcripts HERE at the Pro Football Hall of Fame website.
