NY Jets Kerry Rhodes Accused Of Rape?!

The New Jersey home of New York Jets safety Kerry Rhodes is at the center of a police investigation after a woman claimed she was raped there by two men over the weekend.

The New York Post reported Monday that the woman, a Canadian tourist, said she met Rhodes and another man at a Manhattan nightclub before being taken to a home in Morristown, N.J., where Rhodes owns a townhouse, according to authorities.

Rhodes, in a statement released through a Jets spokesman, said he was not one of the accused.

“I briefly talked with police on Saturday regarding an incident that allegedly took place at my home. The police confirmed to me that I am not the subject of this allegation,” said Rhodes, who signed a $33 million, five-year contract extension with the Jets last year.

Morristown Police Lt. David Ackerman told the Post the investigation is ongoing but declined further comment.

A spokesman for the Jets said the organization was “gathering information.” according to the Post.

    Lesson to everyone: when you’re a tourist in another country, please don’t spend the night at a stranger’s house. Especially after a night of drinking. Only bad can come out of it … after your ass sober up.

    what dumbasses who wrote this…if anyone were to read it carefully from other reliable news you would see that HE ISN’T THE CENTER of the f**king investigation…period…what dumbasses who wrote the f**king title…i mean come on…do you really need attention to try and deceive your audiences? And the thing is I already see a couple of dumb asses who responded like he is actually accused…HE WAS NOT ACCUSED OF ANYTHING.

    NEW YORK(AP) —New Jersey police are investigating a woman’s claim that she was raped by two men at the home of Jets safety Kerry Rhodes(notes), although the Morris County prosecutor said the player is not a suspect in the case.

    The New York Post reported in Monday editions that the woman, a Canadian tourist, said she met Rhodes and another man at a Manhattan nightclub before being taken to a home in Morristown, N.J., where Rhodes owns a town house, according to authorities.

    Morris County prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi issued a statement Monday, saying “Mr. Rhodes is not the target of any criminal investigation. Rumors and media reports to the contrary are untrue.”

    Rhodes issued a statement earlier through a team spokesman.

    “I briefly talked with police on Saturday regarding an incident that allegedly took place at my home,” Rhodes said. “The police confirmed to me that I am not the subject of this allegation.”

    Damn, I don’t know what is worse some misleading article information or some people’s comments. Kerry Rhodes has not been accused or anything. He is not the subject of the investigation. Learn how to f**king read people. I know I shouldn’t say this but to all my brothers out there, especially those with money you need to be like 50 Cent and R. Kelly………RECORD EVERYTHNG. There are so many scandalous broads out there. What sane women from out of town would go home with not 1 strange male but 2? I am not saying she deserved to be raped (if she was) or that she asked to be raped, but we have to be aware of the situation we put ourselves in. Most s**t that occurs is a matter of wrong place wrong time. Ladies please use common sense, and stars please watch out for scammers. It is too easy for we woman to get brothers caught up. I am glad that Kerry was not involved.
