Michael Kalish, an artist based out of Los Angeles, used 1,300 punching bags to create a tribute to Muhammad Ali, called “reALIze.”

“I love turning ordinary objects into extraordinary works of art,” Kalish said. “This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m honored I could create this monument to pay homage to such an incredible man.”

If viewed from any angle other than the front, “reALIze” looks like a mess of stainless steel wires and punching bags.  When viewed from the front, the portrait of Muhammad Ali becomes crystal clear.
