It was a wig or weave that she cut anyway so she doesn’t really fit in with the group of ladies that cut their own actually hair. Basically she was faking the funk with the short bob so it was only a matter of time before she let the long locks flow again.

It kind of doesn’t matter. She got her hair cut, because maybe, just maybe, she felt like short hair. Thanks to some creative minds, she now has the option of rocking long hair when she wants to. That’s her choice. From what PRTYBRN is saying, it wasn’t even her hair that was cut, so it REALLY doesn’t matter now. It’s a hair style and they change just as much as moods do.

why is this even a story? ladies have been doing this for years: short one day and long the next. They just pull out the wigs whenever the mood hits them. Monica, Mary J. blige,and Toni Braxton have been doing this since the early 90′s! What people dont get about weaves is that they aren’t meant to fool people into believing that it’s the womens’ real hair now. Weaves are used as accessories, just like purses and jewelry. It’s not even a “black-thing” anymore, and really has never been. Modonna was rocking her fake ponytails coiled around cornrows in 1994! check the video to “human nature.” The difference is that white people, as with everything, catch fads at the end; and white girls are still trying to convice people that their radiculous extensions are sprouting from their heads, where as the average sista don’t give a fuuck who knows that she just bought her hair to match her shoes and her eyes for the day.

In my family, half of us have light eyes, long hair, high cheekbones, and light skin. NONE of us have white mothers or fathers.
