Bonnie Pointer Arrested For Drugs In L.A.

According to TMZ, Bonnie Pointer –a founding member of the famous Pointer Sisters singing group — was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of a controlled substance.

61-year-old Pointer was busted for felony possession of a controlled substance, booked and held on $10,000 bail. Pointer was released from custody around 4:30 AM.

TMZ obtained footage of the singer leaving a party last week and you can watch that HERE.

Bonnie was part of the singing group The Pointers Sisters along with her siblings, June, Anita and Ruth. They scored several hits in the 70s and 80s including “Neutron Dance” and “I’m So Excited.” (watch Below)

Jalen Rose has been sentenced to 20 days in jail after being arrested for drunk driving in Oakland County, reports Wchbnewsdetroit.com! The former NBA star was arrested on March 11, after a breathalyzer test revealed his blood alcohol level to be 0.12. Jalen plead guilty to the charges and is scheduled to report to Oakland County Jail on August 2nd!

Antoine Dodson, the man behind the viral video sensation “Bedroom Intruder” was busted by Alabama PD for marijuana possession. According to TMZ the internet celeb was a few days late celebrating 4/20 when cops popped him around 2:30 am Saturday the 23rd. Dodson was booked on misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana and released a short time after.

In addition the weed charge Dodson was hit with several other misdemeanors, including failing to appear on a traffic charge, failing to have insurance and speeding.

Idle hands are indeed the Devil’s workshop. Suspended Washington Redksins lineman Albert Haynesworth was charged with simple assault for allegedly striking a man who flipped him the bird in a road rage incident. An officer on the scene said that Haynesworth has not been arrested but plans to surrender next week.

According to the report, Haynesworth allegedly assaulted a 38-year-old man who was driving a 1994 Honda Civic on a Wednesday morning around 9 am. Haynesworth got out of his pick up truck at a stop light, had a brief exchange with the Civic driver before hitting him.
