The Game To Sign Deal With Cash Money?

The Game has plans to sign with Cash Money once his deal with Interscope ends. He says he has been tight with the Cash Money, Young Money camp since NBA player Baron Davis days with the New Orleans Hornets. Baron Davis is the godfather to The Game’s son and the rapper got tight with Birdman when he use to visit the city. “I talk to Baby everyday,” is what he told XXL Mag. The Game has one more album left on his deal with Interscope Records. He says he expects to reach a new agreement with Cash Money sooner than expected.

“We been playing with the idea of going over to Cash Money or trying to marry that and Black Wall Street,” he explained. “So, we’ll figure it out before the end of the day. I definitely think that’s where I’ll probably end up. Cause they winning, they want to win and I been winning and want to continue to win.”

The Game’s The R.E.D. Album is expected to hit stores on August 23.

Looks like the drama or rumors just wont stop about this Nicki Minaj and Scaff Beezy incident. According to a Young Money insider, Scaff Beezy was beat unconscious by Young Money goons. Word is, SB was paid a visit at his hotel room last night in Houston where he was stomped out, supposedly in retaliation for the swollen lip “non-incident” reported by TMZ.

Sources say Beezy is currently recuperating in his hotel room. Nicki Minaj’s next tour stop is in New Orleans with the Young Money crew and it is not certain if SB will be attending.

So after being locked up for the better part of a year, the question most people have for Lil’ Wayne is if his skills as an MC suffered.

We all saw that Shyne came out of the clink sounding a little rough (to put it nicely), but Weezy wasn’t in jail for nearly a decade.

Weezy’s first post-jail verse was unsurprisingly given to his “daddy,” Baby, for the remix to his song “Fire Flame.”

Lil Wayne Banned From Vegas Casino

Despite what most people will probably think, a casino in Las Vegas probably did Lil Wayne a huge favor by banning him from the establishment.

After surprising fans at a Drake concert earlier in the evening, Weezy was a no-show for the afterparty which was held at the Wynn Casino.

According to TMZ, a rep for the Wynn Casino informed someone in Drake’s camp that Lil Wayne wouldn’t be allowed on the property and would be removed if he tried to enter.

The Wynn hasn’t given specifics as to why Lil Wayne was banned from the establishment, aside from saying that casino execs didn’t want any trouble from the rapper, especially since the terms of his probation in Arizona prevent him from drinking alcohol for the next three years.

And we all know that (free) alcohol flows like water inside of a casino.

Shout out to the folks at the Wynn for trying to keep Wayne from pulling a T.I.

Lil Wayne Gets Probation In AZ Case; Must Avoid Liquor, Drugs

Lil Wayne was sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation and 360 hours of community service for a 2008 arrest, in which border patrol agents found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus.

He appeared in court November 5th in Yuma, Arizona and pled guilty to one count of felony possession of a dangerous drug. The more serious charges of gun possession and drug possession were thrown out.

According to the terms of his probation, Lil Wayne has been banned from consuming alcohol for the next three years.

The rap star is also banned from associating with any person with a criminal record without prior written approval, or from knowingly associating with any person engaged in criminal activity.

Additionally, Lil Wayne, who’s love of marijuana and other narcotics is well documented, cannot possess or use illegal drugs, toxic vapors or controlled substances.

Lil Wayne must submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Lil Wayne issued his first comments about his freedom, as he prepared to celebrate last night (November 7th) at a strip club in Miami, Florida.

The rap star walked into the King of Diamonds strip club along with Cash Money Records’ CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams and two beauties dressed in masquerade costumes.

As Lil Wayne strolled the red carpet, he couldn’t find the words to explain how it felt to be free from New York’s Rikers Island, where he spent the past eight months on a gun charge.

“It’s unexplainable, and I’m good with words. I can’t explain it,” Lil Wayne told MTV News.

When quizzed by Sway about his time behind bars, the rapper simply replied: “I forgot about yesterday.”

Despite recently being put in solitary confinement, Lil’ Wayne managed to get a tweet out to his fans asking them not to send him anymore letters while he’s in prison.

We assume that since Weezy’s in solitary confinement and only allowed one phone call per week, that he’s probably not allowed to receive mail too (please correct us if we’re wrong!).

Weezy will be in solitary confinement for the rest of his sentence, which ends on November 4th.

Lil’ Wayne’s latest album, I Am Not A Human Being, released last week, debuts at number 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart this week.

Lil Wayne Sent To Solitary Confinement

Lil Wayne will serve the rest of his prison sentence at Rikers Island in solitary confinement.

Weezy, who was already in a private cell, was sent to solitary confinement after guards discovered he was hiding a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player in his cell. The actual MP3 player was hidden in another inmate’s cell.

Weezy’s will now be spending up to 23 hours of the day in his cell, and will only be allowed out for visits, religious services, and one hour of recreational time. His phone privileges have been reduced to only one personal call per week.

Lil’ Wayne is expected to be released from prison on November 5th.

When Lil Wayne is released from Rikers Island on November 5th, his new album, The Carter IV, will be released to stores, according to Young Money rapper Mack Maine.The album will follow the 10-track I Am Not A Human Being EP that Young Money plans to drop on September 27th, Weezy’s birthday.

Shyne Considering Second Record Deal With Cash Money

Shyne recently announced that he was considering taking on a second record deal with Cash Money Records, in addition to the one he already has with Def Jam.

He plans to release a new album, Gangland, through his rumored seven-figure deal with Def Jam in December, and says that another album, Messiah, may follow soon after.

From MTV.com:

“I’m done,” Shyne said of Gangland, which is also the name of Shyne’s imprint. “I’m just making albums at this point. I’m on my fifth album. I’m not sure, me and Baby [Birdman] been talking. We been talking about doing the Cash Money thing where I put one album out on Def Jam, distributed by Def Jam, and Baby [will] distribute one album on Cash Money.”

The LP on Cash Money would be called Messiah.

“I might do that. I’m not sure,” Shyne said about coming with the Cash Money back project. “We’re still finishing the fine points and negotiating that. Maybe I’ll come with something six months later, [maybe] every six months. I’ve got so much to say, you dig? I don’t think I can answer all the questions on one album. So I definitely think we can put out two different albums on the same day at the end of the year, then come back with a third one or another double set six months later. Get all this s**t off my chest.”

Lil Wayne Sentencing for Arizona Drug Case Set for June 30th

Lil Wayne appeared in Yuma County Superior Court in Yuma, AZ via video feed from Rikers Island on Friday to enter a plea of guilty on one count of possession of a dangerous drug.

Several other felony charges against Weezy were dismissed, including misconduct involving weapons, possession of a narcotic for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Weezy was arrested near a US Border Patrol checkpoint outside of Yuma, AZ in January 2008. When officials searched his tour bus, a .40 caliber handgun, four ounces of marijuana, over an ounce of cocaine, and 41 grams of ecstasy were found.

Weezy is expected to receive 3 years of probation when he is sentenced on June 30th.

Producer Bangladesh: “I Don’t $#%@ With Lil’ Wayne… And You Can Print That”

Producer Bangladesh, who is responsible for the hypnotic beat that Lil’ Wayne blessed on “A Millie” has a bone to pick with the incarcerated rapper.

In a recent interview with Vibe Magazine, Bangladesh (née Shondrae Crawford) states that he’s owed half a milli for his work on “A Millie.”

“I don’t f**k with [Lil Wayne]… and you can print that,” Bangladesh told VIBE, when asked if fans should anticipate a reunion come his 2011 release. “Cash Money don’t pay royalties. The Carter III, [is] his biggest album probably because of “A Millie.” [But] you have to sue these guys so that they pay up.”

He goes on to detail how Lil Wayne is probably getting screwed over by Baby just like Mannie Fresh claims.

“This is why Manny Fresh don’t f**k with [Cash Money] because he never got any royalty money. That’s why Baby can go around flaunting this cash, because that’s everyone else’s money… It’s not even Wayne’s fault. Wayne is not getting money. He is given money, he’s not getting money. If Baby gets a million dollars he’ll buy Wayne a Phantom, but that’s in Cash Money’s name. That 14-bedroom mansion isn’t Wayne s**t,” he says. “That’s why he have his own company, because he was trying to leave Cash Money and the only thing that would keep him there was [if they] gave him his own thing. But Baby still controls that. All those Young Money artists don’t even know that they not getting royalty money.”

Bangladesh isn’t the first to come forward with claims of not being paid by the Cash Money Millionaires. Jim Jonsin recently came forward and filed a $500,000 lawsuit, the same amount as Bangladesh, for unpaid royalties for work on Weezy’s “Lollipop.” Also, in May 2009, production duo Play-N-Skillz mentioned that they hadn’t been adequately compensated for their work on Weezy’s single “Got Money.”

Ex-Prison Guard Denies Spying On Lil Wayne In Jail

A former guard at Rikers Island may sue after she was terminated for allegedly spying on rapper Lil Wayne.

Officials at Rikers Island, the New York jail that houses the rapper, charged that Amelia Negron went into the unit where Wayne stayed without appropriate authorization.

Negron denied the charges.

“I don’t even like rap. I like rock and alternative music and didn’t know much about him when they said I tried to see him. None of it’s true,” she told the New York Daily News.

Negron admitted to going into the ward that held Wayne, but she said she was there to speak to a co-worker, not the multi-platinum artist.

“The door to the area was unlocked, and so I went in to say hello, and that officer said, ‘Hey, you can’t be here. We’ve got a celeb here.’ I said, ‘Okay, no problem,’ turned around and left.”

She said afterwards, she was subsequently threatened.

Before the syrup, dental surgeries, jail time, baby mamas, and platinum records, Lil Wayne was known as Baby D.

The 12-year-old future hip-hop superstar was in a group with a 14-year-old B.G. called, cleverly enough, the B.G.’z (“Baby Gangstaz” for those who were wondering). In 1995, they released their debut, True Story, but Lil Wayne Baby D was only featured on three of the songs.

These songs would be Weezy’s first ever commercially available songs!

Lil’ Wayne’s got a new job.

According to US Weekly, Lil’ Wayne’s baby mama, Toya Johnson, says that @liltunechi is on suicide watch duty at Rikers Island.

“They got him on suicide watch for other prisoners. He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don’t kill themselves. He likes the job even though they don’t pay him much.”

This was probably a great idea for Weezy, as I’m certain being able to interact with someone with Weezy’s status (my personal opinion aside), could be great for some of these suicidal inmates!

UPDATE:

Lil Wayne’s ex-wife is denying that she gave US Magazine an interview that revealed that Lil Wayne was working suicide watch in Rikers Island.

Toya Carter hopped on Twitter earlier today to set the record straight:

“Good morning tweethearts….I’m angry this morning. Who told US weekly to say I told them Wayne have a job…I never said that to them…people r Crazy!

Vibe spoke to someone at Riker’s Island, and they confirmed that he is indeed working in the Suicide Prevention Unit.

According to a Riker’s corrections insider there are three SPAs for each unit in the Eric M. Taylor Center where Wayne resides.

“He works the midnight shift in his unit,” says the source. “He starts at 11pm and ends at 7am.”

According the source, Wayne took a test for the position that is one of the better jobs offered. “The other inmates clean, work in the pantry, they all have some kind of job but his allows him to be alone.”

Weezy Forbidden To Give Autographs In Prison

Lil Wayne has been barred from signing autographs while serving his one-year bid in Rikers Island.

TMZ reports that Weezy’s been told that he’s not allowed to sign a single autograph because, as one Rikers official said, “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here.”

Weezy’s about a week into his sentence at Rikers Island in New York and hasn’t been getting any special treatment whatsoever.
