Michael Jackson’s 79-year-old mother Katherine will receive full custody of his three children per a deal that was reached on Thursday, her lawyer announced.

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife, has agreed not to challenge Katherine for custody of her children with Michael, Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris, 11. Also, no money will be exchanged between the parties, a statement read.

“This is not a money deal,” Jackson family lawyer L. Londell McMillan told CBS’s The Early Show. “This is not about money.”

A child psychologist, paid for jointly by Jackson and Rowe, will oversee the process, attorneys for Katherine Jackson and Rowe said in a statement. The timing and frequency of the visits will be determined by both parties in consultation with the psychologist, the statement said.

The agreement is likely to be discussed during a hearing Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. That hearing will now focus more on lingering issues with Jackson’s multimillion dollar estate, which Mrs. Jackson has vied for control of.

While ABC, NBC and CBS are giving up precious sweeps month real estate for the president’s press conference marking his first 100 days, Fox announced Monday that it will instead stick to its regular programming – an episode of “Lie to Me.”

The network, known for its conservative news slant, is the lone broadcast channel that turned down President Obama’s request for the time.

Tomorrow night’s speech will be the third prime time news conference in Obama’s 100-day presidency. It also marks the first time a broadcast network has refused his request.

It’s hard to find a job these days, and after Jermaine Dupri‘s up and down relationship with his former employer, you might be concerned that money, at some point, might become a “thang,” resulting in him purchasing fewer new whips and such.

Thankfully, the CBS Early Show has decided to help out, tapping him to judge its “Singing Family Showdown“—and he’s not going to be a pushover. When host Harry Smith asked how “psyched” he was for the forthcoming competition, Dupri answered, “I mean, I want to see it. I work with kids all the time. I’ll be the one that’s a little tough on them.”

At very least, Dupri will be able to tell the contestants that if the choice is between backwards and inside-out clothes, it’s easy to see which one is “wiggida wiggida wack.”

“The Wendy Williams Show,” which enjoyed a successful trial run last summer in limited markets, has been cleared in more than 70 percent of the United States for a nationally-syndicated debut in July.

Debmar-Mercury has given a firm production commitment to the talk show, which will premiere in all of the top 20 markets and 45 of the top 50. Fox, CBS, NBC, Local TV, Tribune, Lin, Cox, Raycom, Meredith and New Vision, will carry the program, which will be taped live daily in New York City.

The syndicator has also concluded a multi-year deal with All Mobile Video, which will house the show in the facility that served as the long-term home of “The Montel Williams Show.”

“Rather than commit to an untested show based on the premise of a five-minute sales tape, stations across the country have eagerly sought out ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ because they know it works extraordinarily well, based on the stellar ratings and tremendous buzz it generated last summer during an unprecedented six-week preview on Fox’s New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Detroit stations,” Debmar-Mercury Co-President Mort Marcus said.

Fox committed to “The Wendy Williams Show” after seeing ratings increases in key demographics versus the May sweeps, including every key demo in New York and Los Angeles. The 30 preview episodes were spearheaded by Emmy-winning talk show veteran Rob Dauber, formerly co-executive producer of Martha and supervising producer of “Oprah Winfrey” and “Rosie O’Donnell.”

The folks at “60 Minutes” have announced plans to release a special edition DVD that chronicles President-elect Barack Obama’s history-making road to the White House.

The release, titled “Obama All Access,” is part of CBS’ attempt to use the “60 Minutes” brand to market news-themed DVDs, which have never sold as much as movies or television dramas released in the format.

“We’re always looking for the right opportunity to do this, and you couldn’t find a better example than the Barack Obama story,” said Jeff Fager, executive producer of “60 Minutes.”

“Obama: All Access,” due the first week of February, is the first time “60 Minutes” has released a special edition DVD with material that never aired on TV which, combined with its four-hour length, sets the DVD apart from other “60 Minutes” discs sold in the past two years, network executives said. Those DVDs contained the latest “60 Minutes” stories, but only as they appeared on the program.

The DVD will show Obama’s complete inaugural speech, and other notable campaign speeches. Other features include his first post-election TV interview on “60 Minutes,” which drew 25 million viewers, and previously unaired footage such as him talking about Abraham Lincoln in the Illinois statehouse.

The disc also shows Obama behind-the-scenes with family.

Paula Abdul is secretly planning to launch her own daytime talk show — even if her bosses at American Idol meet her hefty salary demands for the hit show’s ninth season.

The 46-year-old entertainer has been in talks with CBS/Paramount Network Television about developing the show — and sources say it could make its debut as early as next year.

“Paula’s been dreaming about having her own talk show for three years, and she’s ready to make it a reality,” a source close to the star told The ENQUIRER.

Paula envisions the new show focusing on issues that affect average people — plus an occasional celebrity guest, says the source.

As The ENQUIRER exclusively reported last week, Paula is renegotiating her current contract with “AI” execs and is asking to double her salary.

She will earn from $5 million to $7 million, but feels she’s worth $10 million. If she doesn’t get it, she will put the wheels of her talk show in motion immediately, says the source.

And if she does get her contract demands, Paula will attempt to negotiate a clause that states she can have other projects, including a talk show, and will juggle both.

“Paula is unpredictable and not afraid to speak her mind — but she also leads from the heart and really connects with people,” continued the source. “Studio execs feel those are the kind of personal attributes that would make her perfect for a daytime talk show.”

Rapper-actress Eve is set to make a guest appearance in the CBS drama Numb3rs, which follows an FBI Special Agent who is aided in solving crimes by his mathematical genius brother.

In an upcoming episode for the show’s current fourth season, Eve will play a sales rep at a sneaker company who is suspected of stealing a valuable pair of shoes that end up in the hands of a criminal network.

According to CBS, the episode finds the “FBI chasing a very valuable pair of sneakers as they pass through one criminal after another.”

Numb3rs, which stars Rob Morrow as the FBI agent and David Krumholtz as his brother, airs Fridays at 10 p.m

Jamie Foxx, Keyshia Cole and Faith Hill will share their personal experiences with adoption on the CBS special A Home for the Holidays, which airs tonight from 8 to 9 p.m.

Speaking to the Associated Press backstage last month after filming their appearances, the artists explained how they coped with being adopted and why they performed for the special, which offers a mix of musical entertainment and information about child adoption.

“I was lucky,” said the Oscar-winning Foxx (“Ray”). “I was adopted at 7 months, but the lady who adopted me also adopted my mother, so I had a relationship with my biological parents, also.”

R&B star Keyshia Cole said, “My personal story was my mother was on drugs all my life and she didn’t get a little bit better until I became ‘Keyshia Cole the Celebrity.’ Maybe it was a good way for her to see herself — that your daughter has become so much and she’s become so big.”

The special is the brainchild of Dave Thomas, the Wendy’s restaurant founder. Thomas, who was adopted, created the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in 1992.

The show will feature musical performances by Hill’s husband Tim McGraw, as well as Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin Rossdale and Melissa Etheridge.

Jennifer Lopez will star as a single woman caught up in an artificial insemination dilemma in the new romantic comedy Plan B, a production of CBS’ new movie division.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, J.Lo’s character attempts to conceive via artificial insemination and winds up in a quandary after she finds romance.

Cameras are scheduled to begin rolling in the spring, making it one of the first projects to get a green light at the new CBS Films.

The estimates from Nielsen are subject to revision on Tuesday, due to time-zone differences, but as they stand – 60 Minutes averaged a huge 6.4 rating/16 share in adults 18-49 and 24.5 million viewers overall.

The last time the newsmag show topped 24 million viewers was before the Bush Administration in January 1999.
