SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION:

The TheUrbanDaily.com Scarface DVD Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) will begin at 9:00 A.M. Thursday September 1, 2011 and end at 11:59 P.M. on Tuesday September 6, 2011 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Two (2) winners will each be awarded one (1) copy of the Scarface DVD.

HOW TO ENTER:

Legal residents of the U.S. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and are members of BlackPlanet.com who reside in the New York City metropolitan area will be able to take part in this Sweepstakes. To enter this Sweepstakes, participants must do the following:

1.     Go to TheUrbanDaily.com and comment on the designated article of the day.

2.     Entrants must be registered members of BlackPlanet.com to submit their comments at TheUrbanDaily.com. Membership is free. To join, go to BlackPlanet.com and submit the requested information.

3.     Upon entering the Sweepstakes website, participants with a valid email address are to follow the on-screen instructions. Once a member becomes a winner, they will be contacted to confirm, their name, address, phone number, email address, and additional contact information in order to mail the prize to the winner’s residence.

4.     All Internet entries/comments must be received by 11:59 P.M on Tuesday September 6, 2011 or they will be void.

5.     One entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes Period.

PRIZES:

1.     Prize package will include the following:

Two (2) winners will each be awarded one (1) copy of the Scarface DVD.

3.     No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by Company management and/or the sponsor in its sole discretion.

4.     All Sweepstakes winners must sign and date official Company release and waiver forms as requested. Failure to do so will result in the winner’s forfeiture of the prize.

5.  Company will award the prizes only upon winner verification and final approval. Each winner or selected entrant will be notified by email after being selected (e.g., date of drawing). EXECUTION:

2.     The grand prize drawing will take place on Thursday September 8, 2011.  Two (2) winners will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received electronically.

4.     All decisions made by Company management regarding any aspect of this Sweepstakes are final.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The first eight minutes and an age-restricted clip from Sony and Capcom’s Resident Evil: Degeneration have made their way online. The CG-animated feature film hits DVD and Blu-Ray disc on December 30th.

The “Umbrella Incident” that took place in Raccoon City ended with a missile attack ordered by the government intended to wipe out the deadly zombie virus. Following this catastrophe, the Umbrella Corporation’s stock plummeted. Now, seven years later, at an airport somewhere in the United States, on an ordinary afternoon, a zombie is unleashed. No, in an airport beginning to fill with the undead, the horrific disaster is about to repeat itself.

Based on the graphic novel by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones, this adaptation follows Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy, doing a convincing job in hiding his Scottish accent) — an office drone who one day discovers that he is actually the son of the world’s greatest assassin. Before this revelation, Wes suffers panic attacks brought on by his overbearing boss at his soul-sucking accounting job and the blatant affair carried on between his girlfriend and best friend.

Wesley is pulled — literally and violently — out of his ho-hum everyday life by Fox (Angelina Jolie), an alluring mystery woman who tells him about his special heritage and then proceeds to save him from Cross (Thomas Kretschmann). After an absurd but exhilarating car chase-shootout sequence, Fox reveals to Wesley that he must take his father’s place in The Fraternity, an ancient league of assassins led by Sloan (Morgan Freeman). The Fraternity metes out justice as determined by the Loom of Destiny (an over-explained plot device built around murderous weavers — yeah, that’s right).

Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder will hit the DVD and Blu-ray shelves on February 24. We have no cover art as of yet, but the standard DVD will be priced at $29.98 SRP and the Blu-ray will be priced at $39.98 SRP. The film stars the voices of Katey Segal, Billy West, John DiMaggio, Maurice LeMarche and Phil Lamarr.

All the other galaxies will be green with envy! In this all-new Futurama extravaganza, mankind stands on the brink of a wondrous new Green Age. But ancient forces of darkness, three years older than time itself, have returned to wreak destruction. Even more shocking: Bender’s in love with a married fembot, and Leela’s on the run from the law – Zapp Brannigan’s law!
