Oscar winner Halle Berry might as well admit she had a child with the wrong man. She and ex Gabriel Aubry are in court and in the headlines everyday due to their messy custody battle.

In the latest installment of the drama, Berry has requested an L.A. Family Court judge for permission to move her daughter, Nahla, to Europe. Needless to say, Gabriel is seething. According to unnamed sources, he believes Halle wishes to move to Europe with their daughter to strip him of any type of relationship he’s trying to maintain with Nahla. To add fuel to Aubry’s rage, Olivier Martinez, Halle’s new beau, is said to be moving in with the actress and daughter if the judge grants her permission.

these two are going to keep arguing in court until Child Services has enough and just take the baby away. This is getting really ridiculous.

The custody saga between Halle Berry and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, just won’t end. After being investigated for child endangerment stemming from a physical altercation with a nanny, L.A.’s Children’s Services has recommended Aubry have another adult present when visiting his daughter, Nahla.

According to news reports, case workers recommended a nanny be present when Aubry has visitation with Nahla. Gabriel used to have a nanny accompanying him wherever he went when he had custodial time with his daughter. Since his physical altercation with the nanny, he has been spending time alone with baby Nahla.

It will be up to the judge to implement the case workers’ recommendations. Gabriel Aubry believes Halle Berry is trying to make time with his child as uncomfortable as possible, says an insider.

The ongoing custody battle between Halle Berry and ex, Gabriel Aubry, reached an all time high when their nanny called the police on him for shoving her out of the door while she was holding Berry’s daughter, Nahla. Berry asked the courts for a restraining order against Aubry and they valked at the request. Instead, the two squabbling adults take parenting classes to ensure the safety of their daughter.

According to RadarOnline, The two participated in a joint interview “to get these two in the same room and recognize that all of this fighting, is hurting their daughter.” The official investigation by child protective services will “remain open while Gabriel and Halle take the parenting classes and to ensure that Nahla’s safety and well-being continue. Gabriel absolutely wants to work with Halle, and that hasn’t happened, so he is hopeful that can happen now.

Fighting parents makes for a broken child. We hope they can get it together.

Halle Berry’s ex and father of daughter, Gabriel Aubry, is in hot water once again. He is being investigated by police for an alleged assault on a nanny. Did we forget to mention the nanny was holding his daughter, Nahla, in her arms when the assault occured?

According to TMZ, the 6’4 model pushed a 5’2 nanny out of the door while she was holding Nahla because he had decided to keep his child home from school. He didn’t notify the nanny, who went to the school to pick up Nahla. When the nanny questioned Aubry as to why he hadn’t brought his daughter to school, he flew into a rage. He screamed, “You’re the f**king nanny! Who do you think you are! You’re a nobody! You don’t need to f**king know anything!” Police are investigating this as battery and child endangerment.

Why can’t Halle Berry ever find a decent man? Maybe she should date an average Joe.

Halle Berry can go back to feeling secure in her Hollywood Hills mansion. Her stalker has been sent to the slammer for 386 days for scaling a wall surrounding the actress’s home.

Richard Franco struck a plea deal with the prosecution by pleading no contest to felony stalking with the charge of felony burglary being dropped. Franco was arrested outside of the Oscar winner’s property trying to break into the mansion. It was the third time in three days complaints had been made about him trespassing on Berry’s property.

The down side to the plea agreement is Richard Franco has already spent 193 days in behind bars and it will be counted as time served. In actuality, Franco has to spend another six months in jail and he’s a free man again.

Earlier this week, Halle Berry was photo’d wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring which fueled the rumor that the Academy Award wining actress had gotten engaged to Oliver Martinez.

According to a TMZ source “Halle and Oliver are in a ‘committed relationship’ and marriage ‘could be in the cards,’ but as of last week — when the photo came out — they were not engaged.”

(via The Daily Mail ) With news of Lebron James, John Legend, and Aretha Franklin all starting the new year with engagements, could Halle Berry be next to hear wedding bells? The 45 year old actress was recently spotted with what appears to be some unique bling on her ring finger:

Berry has been in a serious relationship with French actor Olivier Martinez since 2010–they first met while filming the never released thriller Dark Tide.

If the rumors are true, this would be the third trip down the aisle for Berry. She was married to baseball player David Justice from 1992-1997, then R&B crooner Eric Benet from 2001-2005. 2011 was a tough year for Berry–she and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubrey were engaged in a very public and nasty custody battle over their three year old daughter, Nahla.

Race has and will always be a hot button issue. A nonchalant comment can be turned into World War 3, depending on who you’re speaking too. One of the things that really get under people’s skin is interracial relationships. Couples with different amounts of melanin have to deal with random angry looks. The ridicule and scrutiny is intensified when one or both of the parties in the relationship are under the microscope of Hollywood.

In the past, Black actresses were slandered for stepping out with white men. In these “post-racial” times, it’s commonplace to see a black woman with a white man. Black women have decided to stop complaining about black men leaving them for white women when they get an ounce of success. Black women are now playing the interracial dating game without shame. With the recent split of Zoe Saldana and her fiancee, Keith Britton, The Urban Daily decided to offer up a list of eleven starlets who have no issue with bringing a white guy home for the holidays.

Known for her roles on The Jamie Foxx Show and NYPD Blue, Garcelle Beauvais married Mike Nilon in 2001. Nilon and Beauvais looked like the perfect couple. Fans sympathized with them as they struggled with infertility for nearly five years. By 2007, the infertility issue was laid to rest as Garcelle gave birth to twins. She’s happily married to actor, Jacob Fishel. So much for life imitating art in this scenario.

Since entering the acting game, Stacey Dash has covered the walls of every black male teenager born in the 80s. Although Dash had plenty of black men checking for her, those gorgeous green eyes were focused on white guys. Brian Lovell took Dash’s hand in marriage in 1999 and gave it back in 2005. After a brief union with James Maby, Stacey thought she found the one in Emmanuel Xuereb. Their matrimony ended last year with Dash filing a restraining order. Inquiring minds want to know what she does to these guys to make them go so crazy?

Halle Berry is determined to raise awareness about domestic violence. Last week, she attended The Mayors Fund Benefit In New York City in support of the family justice centers, where she shared her personal experience of watching her mother abused by her father. Halle speaks on how as an adult she chose men who were just like her dad. The actress decided to break the cycle after losing 80 percent of her hearing. Christopher Williams had taken the blame for this for many years until he made it clear that Wesley Snipes was responsible for causing Halle to lose her hearing in one ear. Check out a few excerpts from her speech below.

“When I was a girl and my mother had the s–t kicked out of her, her self-esteem moved onto me.”

“I devalued myself and thought I wasn’t worth it. I chose partners that mimicked my father. It was only when I was in an abusive relationship and blood squirted on the ceiling of my apartment and I lost 80% of my hearing in my ear that I realized, I have to break the cycle.”

“I want women to stand up and break the silence and get rid of the shame and the fear and find a way to stand up for themselves.”

“I never had to run to a shelter, but I did choose the wrong partners. Not always good men. Luckily, in recent years, I have been smart enough to hit the door when violence even becomes a possibility. That is something I will not tolerate.”

Halle Berry Goes Deep In “Dark Tide” [MOVIE TRAILER]

The first official trailer for Halle Berry’s thriller Dark Tide was released earlier this week. Filmed on location in South Africa, Dark Tide stars Berry as a diving instructor who is drawn to close encounters with Great White sharks. Olivier Martinez (Halle’s real life squeeze) plays her husband, whose own ambition threatens their marriage, as well as Berry’s safety.

No official release date has been announced for Dark Tide.

Berry will be appearing in the upcoming Skank Robbers with Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx in August, and in the Garry Marshall directed rom-com ensemble New Year’s Eve in December with Robert DeNiro, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ludacris.

Samuel L. Jackson is set to make his Broadway debut in the play The Mountaintop. Jackson will portray famed Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Mountaintop is a dramatic interpretation of King’s life the night before he was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN on April 4, 1968. The play has been running for two years in London and will officially open in New York in October 2011. Preview performances will begin on September 22, 2011, at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Halle Berry was in talks to join the cast of the play in the role of Camae, a mysterious maid at the motel, but was forced to withdraw due to the ongoing child custody case with her ex, Gabriel Autry.

Halle Berry is slated to appear on an upcoming Oscar-themed episode of “The Simpsons.” The episode, titled “Angry Dad: The Movie,” is scheduled to air on February 20th.

Berry will be shown presenting an award to Bart Simpson while wearing the same dress she wore when she accepted her Academy Award in 2002.

“Halle starts talking about herself as she’s presenting,” says “Simpsons writer Al Jean. “She ad-libbed something she actually dreams about at night that we left in.”

But how will the stunningly beautiful actress look as a character on the long-running animated series?

“We always ask the subject to give us a photo they’d like us to work off, and then we give the character an overbite,” said Jean. “It’s hard to make Halle Berry look bad.”

Halle Berry Tells Ebony That She Hasn’t “Abandoned Black People”

Between shooting down rumors that she is playing Aretha Franklin in her biopic, having her movie Frankie & Alice pushed back indefinitely and fighting for custody of her daughter, Halle Berry has had an auspicious start to 2011. She hopes to turn her fortunes around in the March issue of Ebony magazine. In the cover story she answers questions about interracial dating and her daughter Nahla’s ethnicity.

“I think is that that’s something she’s going to have to decide,” Berry says of her daughter’s race. “I’m not going to put a label on it. I had to decide for myself and that’s what she’s going to have to decide-how she identifies herself in the world. And I think, largely, that will be based on how the world identifies her. That’s how I identified myself. But I feel like she’s Black. I’m Black and I’m her mother, and I believe in the one-drop theory.”

Recent reports have said that her ex grew angry when their daughter was referred to as “Black.” As for her dating non-Black men of late she says, “I’m very connected to my community, and I want Black people to know that I haven’t abandoned them because I’ve had a child with a man outside of my race and I’m dating someone now outside my race who is Spanish and French. I have never been more clear about who I am as a Black woman[...] And who I really am is a Black woman who is struggling to make my race proud of me, who is struggling to move Black women forward in the profession I’ve chosen, and those relationships have actually helped me identify more clearly.”

The custody drama between Halle Berry and her ex Gabriel Aubrey is starting to play out like a scene from her Oscar-winning roll in Monster’s Ball. While Halle Berry’s mother raised the bi-racial star to see herself as a “Black woman,” her ex Gabriel Aubrey doesn’t share that sentiment in regards to their daughter, Nahla.

According to sources at TMZ, Aubrey would become angry when anyone would refer to Nahla as “Black.” Furthermore, if a story was printed in a magazine or newspaper that referred to the toddler as Black he insisted that Halle demand a retraction because his daughter is “white.”

TMZ also reported that Gabriel has called Halle the “N’ word — and one woman previously involved with him referred to him as a “borderline racist.”

In other Halle Berry news, Kim Kardashian has been dragged into the drama against her will thanks to rumors that she is seeing Gabriel. According to the Chicago Sun Times, Kardashian is said to be annoyed at the comments as Berry has snubbed her several times at Hollywood events. Kardashian said the rumor is ‘nutty’ and she is now in a new relationship with Kris Humphries.

Halle Berry‘s custody battle with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry is getting ugly and according to sources at TMZ, their daughter Nahla is not handling the situation well at all. The Oscar winning actress claims her daughter has been crying hysterically and throwing tantrums whenever Gabriel Aubry picks the toddler up for visits. However, Halle is convince this is not just a child acting out in an uncomfortable situation, she thinks something bad is happening during the visits with her father.

Even though two-year old Nahla can’t communicate exactly what is bothering her Halle’s maternal instincts say something is awry. Earlier this week it was reported that Berry pulled out of the film New Years Eve to fight for custody of Nahla.

Halle began dating Aubrey in 2005 and the couple split n 2010. She has been married twice before to former baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet.

Aretha Franklin may have her mind made up on who she wants to play her in a biopic, but it appears that Halle Berry is “respectfully” declining the offer.

The Golden Globe nominee told E! News on the red carpet that she can’t sing worth a lick and that would be key to her taking the role.

“If I could carry a tune, I’d consider it,” she says. “Someone should tell Aretha that I can’t do her justice.”

In 1998 Berry played the singer Zola Taylor, one of the three wives of pop singer Frankie Lymon, in the biopic Why Do Fools Fall in Love. But she may feel more is required to take on playing the Queen Of Soul.

Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, called in to The Wendy Williams Show recently for a phone interview.

Host Wendy Williams was ecstatic to speak to Franklin, and quickly asked about her health, to which Franklin responded that her health was “superb.”

The banter between the two continued for several minutes with Queen Ree-Ree sounding lively and joking with Wendy about Franklin’s love life and R. Kelly’s latest single.

Williams ended the interview by asking about the rumored biopic that is in the works about Franklin’s life.

Aretha confirmed that the film was going to happen and stunned the audience by revealing that Halle Berry will portray her. No release date for the film was given.
