Lil Wayne took an opportunity to spread some love during a very somber Grammy Awards weekend–to a point.

After celebrating the success of his label YMCMB with performances, plaques, announcements (Christina Milian is now signed to the label) and even a moment of silence for Whitney Houston, he couldn’t help but take a jab at Kanye West and Jay-Z.

“I ain’t really got nothing else to say, but uh…I met a bad red bone, I took the b*tch home, I asked her what she want to watch she said surely not the Throne,” spit Lil Tunechi, who immediately dropped the mic and walked off the stage.

This is the second such shot Weezy has taken at Jay-Z. On “It’s Good” from Tha Carter IV weezy rhymed “Talkin’ ’bout baby money, I got your baby money / Kidnap your bitch, Get that ‘how much you love your lady?’ money.”

The boast was supposedly in retaliation for a jab Jay-Z sent on “H.A.M” where he said “I’m like really half a billi n*gga, Really you got baby money / Keep it real with n*ggas, N*ggas aint got my lady money.”

We can only guess that Jay-Z has been more preoccupied with his own baby’s money to respond to Lil Wayne. The new dad just released photos of he and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Jay sampled her voice for her tribute song “Glory”, making her the youngest person ever to chart on Billboard.

After reading about all of the Illuminati imagery theories in the comments of several posts, The Urban Daily wanted to highlight some of the supposed Illuminati images found in everyone’s favorite track from Watch The Throne. Mason Symbol – Obviously, there’s no need to explain the Freemason symbol. It makes an appearance on more than once. Though Freemasonry isn’t directly associated with Illuminati, they wind up being grouped together in most instances. Jay and ‘Ye made sure the Freemason symbol was displayed. Lie and say it isn’t.

The Vitruvian Man- In the middle of the video, you can see a mirrored image of a lion’s head. On the surface, there isn’t much to talk about. However, you can see a figure similar to Leonardo da Vinci’s sketch, “The Vitruvian Man.” He was also speculated to be in the secret society. It might not be a direct reference, but if you’re in a secret organization, indirectly referencing something is the highest form of flattery.

Baphomet – If you’ve never heard of this, allow me to school you. Baphomet is a pagan deity which is popular in occultism and Satanism. The image often is mistaken as the devil, but in truth, it’s the representation of both male and female. The phrase “As above, so below” comes from Baphomet. the Throne try to disguise it as scene filler, but everything is strategically placed in music videos.

Despite Lil Wayne’s claims, Jay-Z is widely considered the best rapper living. His talent has afforded the former Marcy Projects resident trips to St. Tropez and luxury apartments in New York City. As nice as the money is for Jigga, he gives charitable donations to different organizations. Or does he?

According to reports, hip-hop’s biggest figure only gave his own charity, The Shawn Carter Foundation, $6,431 in 2010. Jay-Z walked home with $67 million that year. In the same year, Beyonce made $87 million, after taxes, and contributed nary a copper penny to her husband’s scholarship foundation.

Carter did just perform two sold out shows at Carnegie Hall where the proceeds were split between The Shawn Carter Foundation and the United Way of New York. Tickets ranged in price from $150 – $15,000. We know the total amount of ticket sales raised a nice sum of money for the charities, but exactly how much is actually going to the charities?

Queen Bey looked stunning in a red ruched Alice Temperly dress and Christian Louboutin pumps. Her nails were painted in a eye popping shade of electric blue, most likely a subliminal shout-out to her new bundle of joy, Blue Ivy. After the star-studded charity concert, la familia Carter took the festivities over to the 40/40 club.

It was “grand re-opening, grand closing” for Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club this week. After celebrating a facelift with the likes of Warren Buffett on Wednesday night, Hov’s swanky club was shut down the next day by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for health code violations.

However, TMZ has learned that the cause of the violations (food being stored at improper temperatures, etc) was a faulty fridge that died moments before opening.

Ron Berkowitz, a rep for the club, says one of the refrigerators blew minutes before the health inspector arrived causing the temperature in the fridge to rise. No food from said fridge was served and patrons of Blue Ivy’s dad can look forward to doing their Cupid Shuffle over shrimp cocktail any day now.

When it comes time to spit out conspiracy theories, The Illuminati gets brought up every single time. Apparently, the secretive group has admitted to killing 2Pac in Jay-Z and Kanye West’s hit, “N****s In Paris.”

This news doesn’t help Jay-Z and Kanye’s denials of being members of the group. Jay’s RocaWear clothing line is emblazoned with Illuminati symbols. Kanye West has been accused of selling his soul to the devil and people use the fact he hasn’t made a song about God since “Jesus Walks.”

While I’m a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, I’m not too sure about this one. I doubt people would admit to a murder and put it in the background of a song. That’s not being a smart criminal. But what do I know? I’ve never committed a crime. On the other hand, everyone likes the song and can never explain why. Could it be The Illuminati has programmed us to go stupid to a song we think is stupid only to distract us from hearing their implication in the murder of one of hip-hop’s most beloved MCs? In her alleged first interview since having her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce is every bit the gushing new mom you’d expect. In an exclusive to Star Beyonce says of her new child, “Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found.”

Beyonce announced to the world that she was with child at the 2011 VMA’s during her performance of “Love On Top.” From that moment the Beyonce Baby Watch went into full swing. The anticipation came to an end on January 7, 2012 when news of Beyonce checking into Lenox Hill Hospital leaked and hours later friends of Hov and Bey leaked the name of their newborn, Ivy Blue Carter.

In the wake of the birth there were several reports that other parents were kept from seeing their children due to security restrictions placed by the Carters. But Beyonce defends the precautions they took:

“Security was very tight, not for the sake of it,” she said. “It was for the security of our daughter.”

For the first gift to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Jay-Z allegedly penned a poem vowing to not use the word “b***h.”He declares that the “degradation has passed” and replaced the “b***h” in “I Got 99 Problems But A B***h Ain’t One” with the word “lady.”

An excerpt below:

“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich, I didn’t think hard about using the word B—-. I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it. I never realized while on the fast track that I’d give riddance to the word bitch, to leave her innocence in tact.”

Blue Ivy Carter is a newborn and already has haters! After news broke that Queen Beyonce produced an heir to the Carter fortune, some church folk assumed it was the end of the world. A church in West End, North Carolina had the most to say. The Church’s sign read,“Beyonce had her baby. Satan is on Earth.”

According to TMZ, the pastor of the church claims not one parishioner of his church is responsible for the sign’s defacing. He says he rushed over to change the sign once he was bombarded with calls and complaints about the tasteless message. The pastor chalked the sign’s message up to mischievous teens around the area.

Since Beyonce announced her pregnancy last fall rumors have swirled about her. Would the child be a boy or girl? Was she faking the whole thing? Things haven’t chilled out since she gave birth to her healthy daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, over the weekend.

And though Mother B. hasn’t spoken out on the incessant allegations, her little sister Solange took to Twitter yesterday to address the peanut gallery.

“It has really gotten out of hand,” she starts the tweets. “I’ve been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut….but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting. We are supposed to be super human and watch people we love get slandered, lied on, and ridiculed. It is one of THE hardest things to accept. In any other workplace…if someone directly tells your mother or sister is a liar and a fake ect…you would naturally express yourself. “A procession of vehicles with blacked-out windows made a speedy exit from the upper East Side hospital’s side gate in the wee hours of Tuesday, witnesses said. It was announced yesterday (Jan. 9) that the iconic rhymer’s become the face of Duracell Powermat, a wireless charging device that allows smartphones to charge their batteries when simply laid upon them.

Duracell Powermat is a partnership between Procter & Gamble’s Duracell and Powermat Technologies. In the past, Jay’s also endorsed ale-makers Budweiser and computer powerhouse Hewlett Packard.

She reached her breaking point when a fan began antagonizing the singer for her lack of tweeting well wishes to Beyonce and Jay-Z on the birth of their daughter. Michelle laid the verbal smackdown on the fan.
