“Regardless of my big mouth back in the day, I’ve got all great things to say about Nick too,” Christina admitted.

Nick then apologized, saying: “I’m sorry for the things that I did. We was young.”

Nicki Minaj and Kelly Rowland’s names were tossed around. But one name had the internet going nuts. Mariah Carey was said to have been taking a seat at the judging table, however, Nick Cannon believes his wife is too legendary to do such a thing.

Cannon gave a quote to EW, saying:

“Like Nicole Scherzinger, my wife is not a fan of judging people. Nicole actually did say that she is used to performing, and the judging thing is not really natural for her. I really think that a lot of entertainers feel that way and I think these shows are really good shows, but when you get someone of status, or just big-time, career-wise, to do these shows, I personally think it’s a step down.”

“Why would would my wife want to be on a show like that? For somebody who has a legendary career, I don’t know why they would do that.”

Mariah Carey has hit legendary status. She does have more number ones than any artist except The Beatles. On the other hand, Mariah’s last few albums haven’t performed as well as others. So being in everyone’s homes on a constant basis might boost sagging sales. Would you watch The X Factor if Mariah Carey became a judge on the show?

Cannon, who had recently been hospitalized for mild kidney failure appeared fully recovered.  The actor and comedian tweeted from the awards and thanked his fans for their support.

“Tonight in DC with my wife and kids at the BET HONORS was one of the most amazing and inspirational times of my life!,” he wrote on this Twitter account. “I really must say I am completely humbled by the outpour of support, love and prayers that came my way during my recovery. I love you all! My wife @MariahCarey has been my hero through this whole process. Definition of an Angel!”

The legendary Debbie Allen stopped by Wendy Williams this past Friday to share some scoop on some of her celebrity friends.  The multi-talented actress/dancer/director/producer had some words of wisdom for Fantasia Barrino. When asked how the troubled R&B singer can get her career and reputation back on track, Allen offered the following advice:

“I wish she would step away from all the people around her so she can hear her own voice.  She has a gift from God–God would help tell her where to go.  She’s got too many leeches around her.”

Allen also revealed her close relationship with Mariah Carey. Allen has directed and produced two of Mariah’s world concert tours, and was present when Mariah gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe earlier this year.  On the subject of Mariah and Nick Cannon Allen said:

“They are such a beautiful family.  Nick Cannon is the best thing that’s happened to her–they are the real deal.”

“So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc.,” Mariah tweeted. “I had 2 C if any of the #lambily wanted 2 guess!!!”

The guessing game went on for awhile as Mariah’s fans, whom she calls lambs, responded with their guesses.

“The game continues!!!! This crew is a lil slow..lil slow…! Coming up next-the initials…I love the #lambily!!!!” she tweeted.

Eventually, Mariah gave her “lambs” a helpful hint: “Both begin w/M’s!!!! :)”

UPDATE: Mariah has officially announced the names of the twins:  Monroe Cannon & Moroccan Scott Cannon.

From CNN:

Their son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon, with the nickname “Roc”. Scott is Nick’s middle name, as well as his grandmother’s maiden name.

The top tier of Mariah’s New York City apartment is called the Moroccan Room, because of the Moroccan-inspired decor. It’s also the place where Nick proposed to his wife, overlooking Manhattan!

Their daughter’s name is Monroe Cannon. Mariah’s rep says she does not have a middle name because Mariah herself does not have one. Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, who has been an inspiration to Mariah her whole life.

“I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Mariah told the magazine in the interview. “My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.”

The Life & Style shoot wasn’t the only nude photo shoot that Mariah recently particpated in though.  On his radio show, Rollin’ With Nick Cannon, Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon revealed that he and Mariah did an artistic nude photo shoot together.

“My children are going to have to see these pictures,” Cannon said of the photos, which he and Mariah intend to display in their home. “It’s a little weird.”

“It’s a little nasty,” he continued. “I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked?”
