(AllHipHop News) Rapper 50 Cent continues to shake up the “Twitterverse” with a series of tweets today that drew the scorn of celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton.

The rap star took to his Twitter page today (September 6th) and took aim at Perez Hilton, who labeled 50 Cent a “douche bag” in a tweet.

Today, 50 Cent addressed the issue when he jokingly tweeted that he had a friend shoot up a gay wedding, along with a link to a picture of people fleeing a tragic scene.

Hilton immediately noticed the tweets and replied.

“50 Cent joking about violence towards gays is about as expired as the days when he used to be musically relevant,” Perez Hilton tweeted.

50 replied that he wasn’t scared of the “pink mafia,” an alleged underground powerful group of gay Hollywood movers and shakers.

A manager for the Black Eyed Peas will not face criminal charges for an assault on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

Liborio Molina was charged with assault for punching Hilton during an after- party into Toronto on June 22nd.

According to TMZ.com Molina, wrote an apology letter to Perez in exchange for having the assault charge dropped.

“I apologize for what I did on June 22nd of 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments including a homophobic slur to my clients. I acknowledged that these kinds of issues should not be resolved through a physical response,” Molina wrote in his apology letter to Perez Hilton.

Hilton accused Molina of striking him out of anger, after the celebrity-blogger called producer/rapper will.I.am of the Black Eyed Peas a “f**ot” during an altercation.

As part of the deal Molina must avoid contact with Perez and he’s forbidden to carry a weapon for at least one year.

Hilton is still suing Molina in civil court for over $25,000 in damages.

Rihanna’s growing up, and she’s invited the big boys to play on her new album.

Among the heavy hitters slated to lend their voices to the new disc are Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and Soulja Boy, Perez Hilton reports, citing sources at Def Jam records.

Not sharing the spotlight with any lady friends, huh RiRi?

The same whisperers at Def Jam say that the album will crossover into rock and pop and overall present a more mature Rihanna than fans have enjoyed in the past, according to Hilton.

The album will also feature duets, one of which was supposed to be sung with Chris Brown before the altercation that landed the former lovebirds on front pages for months. (On June 22, Brown pleaded guilty to hitting her after a pre-Grammy’s party in February.)

There is no word on who she’ll be performing the duets with instead.

The name of the album is going to be kept a secret until the “last moment,” said the insiders quoted, but it will “mark the spirits forever.”

Pretty strong stuff from a songbird who’s yet to see 22, but has clearly lived a lot already.

It’s the Jackson ladies versus the men in the decision of how the public should pay their final respects to Michael Jackson.

MJ’s father, Joe, as well as all the Jackson brothers, wanted to honor their brother with the excessiveness of both James Brown and Princess Diana‘s funerals, says the King of Pop’s former business manager, Dr. Tohme Tohme.

Joe and the Jackson men were set on having an open casket funeral and having the late King of Pop’s body driven through the streets so fans could throw flowers onto the casket a la Princess Diana.

“The family is fiercely divided. You’ve got the brothers on one hand, who all want to perform and turn the funeral into a showbiz extravaganza, and then you have Katherine on the other side who is a deeply religious woman and is determined that this won’t descend into a circus,” Dr. Tohme told reporters.

Bless her heart!

Added former Jackson tour manager Frank DiLeo: “‘She is the one who is pushing for a spiritual element to the funeral. If the brothers had their way, it would be the Jackson Five’s greatest performance. Or rather, the Jackson Four’s greatest performance.”

Momma Katherine has been backed by daughters Janet and LaToya in her decision to have a closed casket memorial at the Staples Center in LA on Tuesday. A single sequined glove and black fedora will be placed on top of the coffin in honor of the late music legend.

Katherine has yet to decide if Jackson’s three children will attend the memorial, but if they do, they’ll be at the Staples Center sans masks.

In a statement that was released from the lawyer of gossip blogger Perez Hilton, Perez has revealed that he will be taking “legal action” against anyone who was involved in the physical altercation that took place after the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.

Following the altercation, which took place over the weekend, Perez has continuously informed fans via Twitter and his blog that he will seek justice. And according to a statement released by his lawyer, Perez will be doing just that.

“Perez will take legal action against anyone who chooses to resort to physical violence as a means to respond to criticism they do not like,” Perez Hilton’s attorney, Bryan J. Freedman, explained in a statement to Access Hollywood.

According to Perez he was hit by Polo Molina, the manager for the Black Eyed Peas, after Perez and will.i.am exchanged words earlier in the evening. Molina has since turned himself in to the Toronto police.

“All persons responsible for this cowardly act of physical violence will be sued and held legally responsible for their actions,” Freedman added. “His first amendment rights will not be infringed upon through fear, intimidation or violence.”

Personally, I’ve always taken the coward’s way out when I felt the need to get into a fight. I always provoke somebody into hitting me first then I could muster the necessary anger to retaliate. I can only think of one instance in my entire life where I actually struck a guy first. I was getting money out of a cash machine at 55^th and 6^th Avenue in Manhattan one night and an old white bum asked me for a few dollars. I told him “no” and he called me a “devil”. For some reason, this upset me so badly that I kicked the poor fellow in the shoulder (he was far too repulsive to touch with my hands)!

After yesterday’s much-blogged-about altercation between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am — a physical confrontation that manifested itself into a verbal war on Twitter — John Mayer took to his Twitter account to poke fun at Hilton’s handling of the situation and start beef with the celebrity blogger. Last year, Hilton provoked Mayer by saying the guitarist was “definitely bi” and that the two had made out, something Mayer denied, Us Weekly reported.

Yesterday, Mayer fired the opening salvo, Tweeting “I love that @perezhilton uses his cellphone to log on to twitter to post a tweet to ask his followers to call the police for him,” which is a good point. The Soho Metropolitan where both Perez and Will.i.am were staying was besieged by phone calls from as far as China and India following Perez’s cry for help.

Mayer also wrote, “Last year Pink kneed me in the nuts outside Chateau Marmont. I was pissing blood for days. Did I make a scene?” After noting that Perez’s video statement was “so long that by the end of it his cut healed,” Perez fired back, “That’s real funny! Ha ha! And I’m sure you also think I “deserved” to get hit!” From there, the two continued writing each other back and forth, with actress Kirstie Alley (another frequent target of Perez) throwing her support behind Mayer and Will.i.am. Mayer concluded the very public conversation by calling Perez a “dumb shit.”

Earlier today police charged the tour manager of the Black Eyed Peas with assault after he allegedly gave celebrity blogger Perez Hilton a black eye outside a Toronto nightclub. Hilton said he got into an argument with band members Fergie and will.i.am at the Cobra nightclub early Monday morning and was punched outside by Polo Molina, the band’s tour manager. They were at the club following a Sunday night video awards show.

Molina turned himself in and has been charged with assaulting Hilton, Toronto Police Constable Tony Vella said. Molina is due in court Aug. 5.

This morning Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas gave his response to allegations that he assaulted gossip blogger Perez Hilton this weekend in Toronto, Canada at the Much Music Video Awards.

Kanye West dominated the final night of the annual South By Southwest music conference and festival on Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The rapper was expected to perform at the event, but was not officially announced as part of the lineup earlier in the evening. His presence was soon confirmed when he took the stage beneath a tent as part of a party sponsored by Fader Magazine and Levi’s.

His lengthy set alternated songs with lesser known rappers from his G.O.O.D. Music record label, including Consequence and Kid Cudi.

“It feels so good to rock for you tonight,” said West, who also streamed the concert online.

His set ended with appearances from Common and Erykah Badu, both of whom were cheered wildly by the thousands in attendance.

A few hours later, West also made an unexpected appearance at gossip blogger Perez Hilton’s party, held a few block north in downtown Austin in a converted grocery store. Hosted by the celebrity gossip blogger, the party has become one of the bigger private events at SXSW.

West performed a handful of songs (this time without guests) and said he respected Hilton (whose real name is Mario Lavandeira) for being “real” even when he has made fun of the rapper.

N.O.R.E. seems to have been going through it. First, he’s arrested at Fatburger and although he was eating healthy (veggie burger), he got into some beef with a customer. But after getting out of “jail,” the Lefrak general had to deal with some “unexpected company” messing with him.
