Kita dismissed it, saying, “He’s mad at everybody. We were friends first. People forget that. We were friends for 12 years. Terrell is the only client we had where we had a friendship first.” She added, “Terrell is typically known for running his mouth, he says things off the cuff, he’s mad at the world. It didn’t bother us, that article we knew about.”

As for allegations that the two stole from Terrell, Monique declared: “We have never! We’ve never stolen ANYTHING from Terrell Owens. There’s been always hills and valleys within our relationship. This isn’t the first time Terrell and Kita and I have parted ways with our friendship. Over a 12-year span it’s not a big deal.”

Should T.O. Just Go Home?

Owens attempted to reschedule a recent appearance in court over child support payments in order to hold a workout for NFL teams. No teams attended the workout and now a warrant has been issued for his arrest because he failed to appear in court.

Owens rep Diana Bianchini  said the “T.O. Show” star was looking for a new attorney and was representing himself while trying to change the court date. She said his new attorneys will deal with the warrant issued this week.

Couldn’t that workout have been postponed a day?

Owens, who is currently not on an NFL roster, wants to reduce the payments he’s making for a son he shares with baby mama Monique Reynolds … because, according to his rep, he’s simply not getting paid these days.

Owens, who last played with the Cincinnati Bengals, had off-season surgery on his left knee and was hoping to be on a new team by now. With no consistent income he feels he can’t make the same level of payments. The wide receiver held a workout for NFL teams recently, but only television reps showed up.

Terrell Owens held a workout yesterday (Oct. 25th) to show that his surgically repaired left knee is pain free and completely healed from a torn ACL. Terrell looked great, running routes with his shirt off (surprise!) showing he was in tip-top physical condition from the waist up and catching all balls thrown to him (on camera anyways).

The problem was no one representing the NFL showed up to watch. What does that say about Owens future in the league? What could this do to the psyche of someone that loves the spotlight? While I don’t think Terrell should retire, I do believe he should sit out this season and rest his knee instead of being a hired gun for the stretch run. He is more known for his reality show these days than football (the show is a guilty pleasure of mine) so he should prepare for next season and collect those residual paychecks from “The T.O. Show“. But why should Terrell or any NFL owner listen to me? There are teams this season that can definitely use Owens on their roster right now. Here are my top 5:

1) Indianapolis Colts

The Colts need a rewind button on their dismal season. Bottom line, they played like a college team last Sunday (Oct.23rd). After the defense gave up 62 points to the New Orleans Saints there’s nothing T.O. could have done to help. Easily on their way to falling below 10 wins in a season for the first time in years, it couldn’t hurt to give Terrell a shot.

2) Oakland Raiders

They just signed one of Owens’ former quarterbacks in Carson Palmer and the Raiders are on the right side of .500 at 4-2. Seriously, I challenge you to name one of the Raiders’ wide receivers without googling their current roster. I couldn’t either. The Raiders can thank running back Darren McFadden and the recently injured quarterback Jason Campbell for their fast start. McFadden was sidelined this past Sunday and you saw the result: zero points. A Palmer-Owens connection can bring the offensive punch, give them a big name at wide receiver for the first time since Tim Brown and Jerry Rice were running routes together, and allow them to, in the famous words of their deceased owner Al Davis, “just win, baby!”

3) Minnesota Vikings

I’m not trying to be funny, really (yet I can’t help but chuckle at the irony). If Minnesota were to take a chance on T.O. he would be reunited with the recently demoted Donovan McNabb. The Vikings have had success bringing in a former star trying to reclaim glory with Brett Favre so why can’t they do it again? 2 out of 4 ain’t bad (McNabb and Randy Moss in their returns were busts). Christian Ponder showed signs of greatness keeping the Vikes competitive against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers no less and Owens, who plays his best in big games, would give him another big target. However, I doubt coach Leslie Frazier would put McNabb (speaking of someone who should retire) through any further embarrassment.

4) New York Jets

They were rumored to be looking at T.O. before the season began, then they signed Plaxico Burress.… same thing. They also have Santonio Holmes. Why not bring T.O. in and make it a troublesome threesome? Rex Ryan is the coach and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he shook things up.

5) Philadelphia Eagles

Donovan McNabb is not the quarterback anymore and Michael Vick will not get tired in the Super Bowl. The supposed “Dream Team” needs to wake up from a nightmare start and T.O.’s fire could be what gets them over the hump on both sides of the ball. Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin could learn a lot from the crafty veteran. The question is would coach Andy Reid go down that road again?

Sure there are other bad teams that need T.O.’s services (Miami and St. Louis comes to mind), but Owens’ future Hall of Fame career has been built playing with elite teams (49ers, Cowboys, Eagles) and quarterbacks.  If he managed to leave all of those teams on a bad note (and they were winning), do you think he would suit up for the Dolphins just to get a pay check?  Even though his “workout” wasn’t set-up by the NFL, his reputation as a divisive presence may be another reason why no NFL scouts showed up. Owens may have a lot left in the tank, but once you start signing a string of one year contracts with different teams in any sport the end may be near whether he likes it or not.

Better start getting that speech ready.

Why did you make the comments about Evelyn Lozada being a non-m*therfu#king factor?

Kita and I went to the Forbes Celebrity Entrepreneur Awards as the producers and creators of the T.O. Show. I did not go there with Evelyn on my mind, just to make that clear. While we were on the red carpet one reporter said she was happy to see The T.O. Show back for a third season and how we are the only show that shows two black women running a business in a positive light. When asked if I watch Basketball Wives I responded, “I support it.” I completely support Shaunie O’Neal’s movement and I am friendly with a lot of the girls on the show. The same reporter then mentions how I move in the same circle as Terrell and Chad and what do I think about Chad and Evelyn’s relationship. I said, “I don’t think one way or the other about their relationship. I don’t know Evelyn to get all up into it that way.” I stated, “what I do know is that Evelyn needs to slow down and stop portraying herself a certain way.” She asked and “how is that”, I said, “well sleeping with married men and pretending like the wife is a non-motherfucking factor is just so disrespectful, but what do you expect from her? On the show, she meets, greets, and sleeps, with a guy the same night, whether it’s the truth or not, it’s portrayed that way.”

What do you think about the beef between Tami and Evelyn?

My issue is she continues to disrespect Tami, and Tami and I are cool.  I knew Tami before I was married.  To call Tami a non-motherfu*king factor when [Evelyn] was having an affair with Kenny is just crazy!  You can meet, greet, and sleep with a guy in one night if you want to.  You can get drunk and screw a guy closer to your daughter’s age if you want to.  But what you can’t do is be bold and disrepectful and not expect to have backlash.  The botom line is you pretended to be this chick’s friend.  I don’t care if it was for a day, a week, a month, an hour — don’t smile and laugh in her face when you know her dude done dicked you down.  That’s the first black girl rule to getting your ass kicked.  The first day you met her, you should have pulled her to the side and let her know.  So don’t get defensive when someone wants to come at you, because honestly, Tami is like a pitbull; she comes at your ass barking, ready to bite!  And Evelyn is more like a Chihuahua.  She’s a little dog that barks in the yard and backs up when your ass comes toward her.

Do You think Chad and Evelyn’s relationship is real, or is it just for ratings?

I don’t want to say anything else to make Chad upset with me.  We run in the same circle, have the same agent, and all that.  I can’t say if it’s real or not. And Terrell likes Evelyn; I will say that much.  He says a lot of nice things about her.

What can we expect from season 3 of The T.O. Show?

Well ironically, we end up in Miami.  Terrell has property there and he has a business there, so we go there and help him try to figure out what’s his next business move.  In that, there comes a Miami lifestyle.  There’s a lot of fun and games, a lot of ups and downs, there are highs and lows in this show.  I try to play back a little bit, because people know that I am married and I have kids, and in the show, I end up missing them a lot because we move to Miami and live with Terrell.  So it’s kind of like Three’s Company meets Jersey Shore, with a little bit more color.  I would call Kita Chrissy — she is dating now.  She’s getting her sex life and that game back on.  Terrell is finding himself as he always is; jumping over hurdles and trying to excel with the T.O. brand as well as the man.  So it’s going to be exciting.

How do you, Terrell and Kita balance friendship and business?

You know what, it doesn’t interfere.  I think because we’ve known each other for over a decade, worked together for over a decade, we kind of have it in the box.  Terrell will come to my kid’s birthday — Terrell’s my first baby’s godfather.  They both were at my wedding.  But then when it comes down to hardcore business, it is what it is.  We quit on Terrell twice.  And throughout that time, if I’m pregnant or going through something or he’s going through something, or he’s having a surgery, I still will chime in; I still we be vocal and completely supportive. Because as adults, we have to understand when it’s time to turn the switch on and turn the switch off. Our relationships are based off of faith, family, and friendship, so the business part is last.

Will there be a possible Mo & Kita spin off?
That’s possible; it may be in the works sooner than later.  We’ve gotta hear from the audience though; we’ve got to hear what they want to see.

What are Mo and Kita working on in the future?

Outside of the show, Kita and I are working on a project called Define Your Pretty.  And Define Your Pretty is two part fold: there’s a non-profit which we are working with the United Negro College Fund doing college tours with HBCUs.  We did it September through June this past season.  And starting this September, Kita and I will be headlining the tour and doing it through June again.  We’ll be going to like 23 cities and talking to girls about defining themselves and about the images media puts out there and says about us.  We can take ownership of who we are, and the conversation goes all over the place.  For women who are 22-30 years old, we can get on topics like sex, self-confidence, images, and so on.  But pretty starts as an inside job; it starts with having love, confidence, courage, and those types of things.  And then you become a pretty amazing woman. Kita and I are also starting a beauty line, and it is called Define Your Pretty.  People are always asking us about out hair and our makeup and certain tips and things like that.  So we’re starting a hair accessory line.  So we’ll be unfolding some of those things on the show as well.

“The T.O. show” will return to VH1 for a third season this summer.The announcement was made on Monday that the NFL superstar Terrell Owens, and his right hands Mo and Kita will be back on reality TV.   This season T.O. will be hitting the beaches of Miami to promote his barbershop, “T.O. Cutz,” and his fitness products for women.

The similarities between Moss and Allen Iverson are staggering. like Iverson, Moss’ physical skills have never been questioned. Like Iverson the knock on Moss has always been character-related. Not one to bite his tongue Moss has never been afraid to give his opinion. Sound like a six foot point guard-turned-shooting guard? While this candor may be refreshing from an athlete in this age of the anonymous quote, his willingness to speak his mind has gotten Moss in trouble more times than not.

Let’s forget about his past transgressions for now and take this current season alone. Moss started the year with the New England Patriots. After a humiliating loss to the New York Jets (the only loss for New England in seven games this year by the way) in the second week of the season, Moss sat at the podium during the post game press conference in a red and black starter cap with cornrows hanging out the back, a T-shirt and over-sized headphones around his neck (how come no one is screaming about a dress code for the NFL?) and, completely unprovoked, tells the gathered media that he will probably not finish the season as a New England Patriot.

Sure he was frustrated by ongoing contract negotiations with the team in what was his last year, but why rock the boat in public? New England is the consummate team. Their only scandal (known as Spygate) had to do with the coaching staff allegedly using cameras to record the opposing team and steal their plays during the game, but the players have been model citizens led by quarterback and pretty boy Tom Brady. Moss also said that he felt there were people in the New England area that did not want to see him do well. He gave no names and he did not elaborate.

To quote the ESPN NFL Countdown team; “C’mon Man.” Keep that stuff in the locker room. For the most part, Moss was on his best behavior in New England. He set records with Brady in 2007 during the perfect regular season run to the Super Bowl. However, feeling he was not appreciated by New England to warrant a contract extension, Moss seemed happy to be traded back to Minnesota, a team desperately needing help at wide receiver due to a string of injuries. Moss told Vikings fans to dust off the old number 84 jerseys they had in anticipation for his return.

But the party would not last. At another post game rant, this time about being fined for not speaking to the media, he told the gathered throng he will only interview himself and answer his own questions  for the rest of the season. Then he saluted New England Coach Bill Belichick and said he missed the Patriots. Before you could blink Moss was put on waivers by The Vikings.

When I heard Moss was released I was not surprised. Any player that tells the media they miss being on the team they were traded from at a press conference for the new team in the same season he was traded from the old team would have to go as well. But it didn’t stop there.

Reports say Vikings coach Brad Childress gave Moss the boot not just because of his behavior in the press conference, but over food. Allegedly, Moss berated the caterers who prepared the meal for the team this past Friday. It seems the Vikings have a tradition where every Friday they invite a local business to prepare the team meal. Allegedly Moss loudly criticized the food saying “What the f— is this? Who ordered this crap? I wouldn’t feed this to my dog.” The statements reportedly made teammates present uncomfortable with one anonymous player claiming Moss “deserved to be cut.”

Moss is wasting his talent. This man could be on a level with Jerry Rice when his career is said and done, but he continues to destroy his legacy with childish behavior. New England would have been the perfect place to end a stellar career. I believe Moss gets bored out on the field. However,  growing up watching Jerry Rice and Tim Brown I can’t excuse Moss’s behavior on the field. Taking plays off (i.e not running the route completely) because the ball is not being thrown your way is unacceptable to me. There is such a thing as being a decoy. On field play aside, saying you miss the team you pretty much asked to be traded from is ludicrous.

Iverson has  only had one public rant of note (“We Talkin’ About Practice”) and The Answer never took plays off.  But he is guilty of not being able to humble himself in the face of old age. After signing with the Memphis Grizzlies, “retiring” and re-signing with his old team the 76ers, Iverson refused to relegate himself to a sixth man role even though he said he would do whatever the team wanted. Therefore the Grizzlies and Pistons sent him packing.  Now he has just signed a contract to play in Turkey.

Unlike Allen Iverson’s ordeal in the NBA, some team will claim Moss off waivers. The sad part is it may be a bad team.  Will a playoff contender really want to bring in a guy like Moss who easily becomes disinterested during the game? A guy that may hurt team morale? Who won’t eat your food? Moss is a shameful waste of talent at this point.

At least we haven’t heard Terrell Owens complain yet.

Get ready for the “T.Ochocinco” Show in the NFL this season. Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco, two of the most outspoken wide receivers in the sport, will be playing together on the Cincinnati Bengals this season.

According to ESPN Owens agreed to a one-year $2 million deal with the Bengals plus incentives. His friend and reality show compatriot called in to ESPN to give his thoughts on the deal.

If nothing else, Carson Palmer’s fantasy value just got a little boost. the ratings will get a boost as folks tune in to watch the implosion.

Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens is disappointed in the way NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is considering Michael Vick’s reinstatement now that the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback has served a 23-month prison sentence for his role in an illegal dogfighting ring.

Owens called the possibility of an additional Vick suspension to start the season, possibly for four games, “ridiculous” while meeting with reporters after Sunday morning’s training camp session at St. John Fisher College.

“The Michael Vick situation, I think, is unfortunate,” Owens said. “I think the way the commissioner is handling it is unfair to Michael Vick. I think he’s done the time for what he’s done. I don’t think it’s really fair for him to be suspended four more games. It’s almost like kicking a dead horse in the ground.”

“A lot of the guys around the league need to speak up. I think the players’ union needs to step in because the guy’s already suffered so much, and to add a four-game suspension onto a two-year prison sentence, I mean, that’s ridiculous.”

League sources told ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio and Chris Mortensen on Thursday that Goodell is expected to announce details of Vick’s conditional reinstatement, allowing the three-time Pro Bowler to sign with an NFL team.

Owens wouldn’t speculate whether Vick will be signed by another NFL team, but claimed Vick deserved the opportunity.

“Why shouldn’t he?” Owens said. “There’s a number of guys around the league that have done far more worse things than that and gotten a second chance. So I don’t see why he shouldn’t.”

Not speaking in terms of the Bills, Owens said he wouldn’t mind having Vick as a teammate.

“Again, why not?” Owens said. “Michael Vick is a guy that really hasn’t had any character issues besides [what] he got a prison sentence for, so why not.”

According to Yahoo, Terrell Owens going to get an actual reality show. You can blame VH1 for it, as they’ll be airing “The Terrell Owens Project.” Here’s a snippet from the press release:

“The series follows one of the NFL’s biggest and most outspoken stars, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Terrell “T.O.” Owens.  In the series, T.O. will be shadowed in the off-season by his best friends and publicists Monique Jackson and Kita Williams as they battle the two sides of his large personality.  Viewers will discover that behind all the braggadocio, emotional histrionics, and sculpted physique that is the outspoken media magnet known to the world as “T.O.” — there is also a quiet, sensitive, mild-mannered guy from Alexander City, Alabama…that’s Terrell.”

Wow, congratulations, Terrell. A VH1 reality show. You’re now in the same boat with Bret Michaels, Flavor Flav, and Hulk Hogan. Dream big, my friend.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Michael Irvin will also be hosting a reality show that will send one lucky fellow to Cowboys training camp. And all of this is comes after a disappointing football season that many would argue was derailed by too much drama and the draining presence of too many prima donnas. Some might call that irony.

The upside is that if Owens gets cut this off-season, there might be VH1 cameras around to catch it on tape. So I’m looking forward to that.

Myself, I’ve never doubted that Terrell Owens was a nice, compassionate, caring person who had a very sensitive side. I suspect that’s what VH1 will be highlighting here, and hey, it might even be entertaining. I did watch every episode of that one VH1 show that featured Peter Brady, the hot model, Verne Troyer, Chyna, and Da Brat, so I’m in no position to be a TV snob about it.

What I don’t see, though, is how it helps the Cowboys or even Owens himself. It seems to be that the Cowboys are in a place where they need stability, and part of that is either going to come from excising Owens, or Owens proving that he can be a stable and reliable part of the team.

And if he does end up getting cut, he’s going to face the real possibility that no other team will want him, for fear that he’ll upset their apple cart, too. I don’t know how an offseason reality show helps him prove to anyone that he won’t be a distraction.

Suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones is done with the inpatient portion of his NFL-ordered alcohol treatment and has returned to Texas, where he hopes to soon rejoin the team.

Jones’ attorney, Worrick Robinson, said the player is handling personal matters while waiting for Commissioner Roger Goodell to determine if Jones will be reinstated and be able to play again this season or in the future.

“He’s using this time to focus on himself and focus on his priorities, which is to stay committed to the program he started,” Robinson told the Associated Press. “He’s re-establishing his life in Dallas with this program being a priority.”

Jones was suspended indefinitely last month for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. The commissioner said then that the suspension would be a minimum of four games and that he would evaluate the situation after that time. The fourth game was Sunday, and Jones took part in a program in the Boston area during the month while he wasn’t playing.

Robinson said there has “not been any timetable for when a decision will be made by the commissioner.”

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said last week that he would welcome Adam Jones back to the team if he’s reinstated and didn’t expect it to be a distraction if the player returned.

“No, not if he’s adhering to the kind of things that he has to address,” the owner said. “He was a hard worker, hard practicer and certainly contributed positively to our team. So I don’t consider him a distraction.”
