Amount owed: More than $300,000 in back taxes last year
What had happened was: When Young Buck and 50 Cent‘s relationship soured, ending his G-Unit affiliation, Buck claimed his financial backing went down the tubes too. In an interview in 2010 with vibe.com, the multiplatinum rapper describes how IRS agents raided his Tennessee home at 6:30 a.m. one morning last August, allegedly with guns drawn, attempting to seize his assets. “If you coming just to serve some tax papers and take assets, then you wouldn’t have M-16s, 12 gauges and glocks all out,” he said. “They making it seem like it’s a drug raid.” (Buck says he owed only $164,000.)

A claim was also filed for $171,000 relating to a $300,000 loan from 50 Cent in 2005.

A total of 14 claims have been filed against Young Buck totalling over $11 million.

Young Buck’s lawyer, Robin Mitchell Joyce, says that Buck’s largest problem was that he was unaware of many of the business deals he was involved in.

“One of the biggest problems with Buck’s situation is not only that it’s so complex, but also that he didn’t understand it,” Joyce said. “The money went in and the money went out and Buck’s universe of knowledge about his financial state is a balance on an ATM receipt. … Buck never knew at one point, at several points, that he was a millionaire.”

Prosecutors unsealed the indictment yesterday which was for an incident that near the time that the former G-Unit rapper’s home was raided by the Feds over a tax dispute.

Young Buck has pleaded not guilty to the gun possession charge and is currently out on bail.  Due to a previous conviction for an incident at the 2004 Vibe Awards when Young Buck stabbed a man who punched Dr. Dre, the gun possession charge can land Young Buck in jail for ten years.

Young Buck is planning to take on rival and G-Unit leader 50 Cent for an amount that could be as much as $5 million dollars.

According to the Nashville City Paper, Young Buck will sue 50 Cent for his freedom from his G-Unit recording contract, which has prevented him from releasing material, or recording guest appearance tracks with other artists.

Young Buck, born David Darnell Brown, filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection, to pay off his debt in a structured, timely manner.

The Nashville rapper will file a lawsuit against 50 Cent, G-Unit and Sha Money XL.

“Mr. Brown intends to reorganize his debts and pay off the IRS in a timely manner through Chapter 13,” Lynda Brown told the City Paper. “We hope to secure the return of his personal property quickly. He will also be filing a lawsuit in the next 30-60 days against his former manager, G Unit label and Mr. Curtis Jackson.”

Nashville, Tennessee rapper Young Buck recently took aim at 50 Cent, revealing the Queens-rapper is still feuding with him and attempting to destroy his career.

Young Buck was once a member of 50 Cent’s G-Unit collective.

According to Young Buck, 50 Cent is blackballing him from the rap game and preventing him from working with other artists, due to his contractual obligation to G-Unit.

“His reaction, being so harsh, is to basically stall me out to a position where I lose everything, to where my numbers drop,” Young Buck told the Nashville Scene in a new interview. “Because if you don’t have a new product out, then you can’t go get the big dollar for your shows. [He wants] to pretty much destroy my life from a silent-sided way of doing things. That’s his angle, and my contracts allow him to be able to do that.”

Young Buck stated that he is still very much in demand as an artist and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of artists, including longtime affiliate Lil Wayne.

But 50 Cent is allegedly preventing Young Buck from making guest appearances, which would raise his profile in addition to putting money in his pocket.

“The problem is, I go to be a feature on their hit record, and then they have to go to 50 Cent to clear me on the record, and he says, ‘No.’ And they’re looking like, ‘Well, damn’ — cause if it wasn’t for that I would probably be on every record that’s out right now, cause everybody and their mama reaches out and gives me support,” a frustrated Young Buck said.

The Game Apologizes To 50 Cent

Sources have told AllHipHop.com that the tracks that hit the net could be from the version of Before I Self Destruct that 50 Cent decided to scrap.

In May of 2009, 50 Cent announced that he had scrapped the original version of Before I Self Destruct due to numerous delays of the album’s release.

The latest release date for Before I Self Destruct is September 29.

Recently, The Game apologized for his part in his highly-publicized beef with his former crew G-Unit.

One of the original members of G-Unit, Tony Yayo, told MTV in an interview that he wasn’t buying what Game is selling.

“He said in that interview he might feel a different way the next day. Game is bipolar,” said Yayo. “One day he’s this way, the next day he’s the next. When you got a group like G-Unit … we sold millions of records, we got a lot of egos. From Buck and Game, I think they just gotta learn how to control them egos. In their eyes, to me, they got jealous of 50. They’ll say, ‘Yayo is up under 50′s ass.’ Or ‘He’s 50′s yes-man.’ It’s not that — I don’t have any hate in my heart towards anybody. I don’t have hate in my heart towards Game or Buck. But when we built a brand, G-Unit was selling millions of records like he said — yeah, we was the Beatles.”

Yayo elaborated, saying that while he understood Game and Buck’s beefs with 50, explaining that they received more attention being on their own. Yayo also admitted that were he to do the same, he would also receive more press, but would never do so out of loyalty to 50 Cent.

“Let me keep it real. You’re either gonna be down with 50 and be below him a little bit … but you’re still travelling the world. I just came back from Ireland, Switzerland and Turkey. So I don’t care what nobody says,” continued Yayo. “Or you could go against him and get more publicity. Buck and Game, when they went against 50, they got way more publicity. Way more people wanna interview them and know what the beef’s with 50. So they gain more interest than me.”

“If I was to flip on 50 today, it would get me more media than me being down with him. But I’m not a snake. So Game started the ‘G-Unot’ thing, tried to hurt the brand. C’mon, people respect the movement. They respect when they see guys from the ‘hood who came from the ‘hood — started out with nothing, now got something, not knock each other when we get to the point where we all got money, houses, cars, kids, bills.”

Game has yet to respond to Yayo’s interview.

The MC says he wants to “apologize to 50 as a man.” He also wants to apologize to the fans, Dr. Dre, Eminem and the head of Interscope, Jimmy Iovine.

“Jimmy always says, ‘Man, I told you guys not to break up the Beatles,’ ” Game said. “He says he told John Lennon the same thing a long time ago. But I was young, man. I was dumb. I did a lot of dumb things. I felt me and 50 clashed. I’m not gonna dis 50. I’m not gonna go back on the plane. He had his side, I had my side. I did what I felt was necessary for me and my career to have longevity and survive in hip-hop and music to be around when I’m Quincy Jones’ age — not just be Quincy Jones’ age, but be a Quincy Jones. Now, four albums in, I can honestly say from Banks to Buck to Dre to Yayo to whoever, if it would have kept going, endless paper. Millions of albums sold — because we were great together. Me and 50’s chemistry was like how Method Man was to Redman when they get in. You know when Method Man gets with Redman, it’s going down.”

True, the Unit, when they were a five-man squad (that’s with Game and Buck), were absolutely unstoppable. We’re still rocking that All Eyez on Us G-Unit Radio Part 5 mixtape.

“It is what KRS-One was with Scott La Rock,” Game added, describing his time with 50. “When you take Ralph Tresvant from New Edition and Bobby Brown goes this way, you might get a Bell Biv DeVoe, but you won’t get no ‘Candy Girl.’ You won’t get no ‘Mr. Telephone Man.’ You ain’t gonna get no ‘Hate It or Love It,’ you won’t get ‘How We Do.’ As a family, we had it. If we never [broke] up, I think Detox would have been out and we all would have been selling millions from Banks to Buck, Tony Yayo. I’m gonna apologize for my role.”

Ever since the infamous crying phone call many people have said it was the end for Young Buck. Since then he has been booted from G-Unit but is still contractually tied to the label. Buck did not go down quietly though, releasing a steady stream of mixtapes and always being on the scene, be it a show, convention, or former enemies music video. And it worked. Buck’s name is still hot in the streets and the people are checking for him. So why aren’t we hearing anything major coming from the Cashville titan?

Word is that in order for Buck to get out of his contract 50 Cent wants 10 million dollars! Obviously this is more than anyone would be willing to pay for just about any artist and it looks like that is the point. T.I. reportedly stepped to 50 months ago offering a cool milli for Buck but Fif’ wouldn’t budge and refused to let Buck go. With 50 it’s obviously not about the money but rather him just wanting to punish Buck for his disloyalty to the Unit and doesn’t want his career to go anywhere. Until Buck gets out of his contract there is nothing he can do except pump out more mixtapes and keep it in the streets, which he has vowed to do as long as he needs to.

This business is a cold one so know what your doing out there people. Me personally I feel 50 should let this man go and feed his family. Shit like this ain’t good karma. I think we all get it and he’s made his point, now let this nigga live before he gets indicted or something.

I’ll bet my SALARY he won’t utter one disrespectful word. Well, maybe..Am I trying to start a beef that’s far from brewing? Hell no. But a couple of previous conversations ignited the start to this post. In retrospect, Em’s holds court in the “jest” lane.

His banter is sarcastic, but harmless. His motives are to tickle your funny bone, but to embarrass you on every public forum; even when his efforts seem lazy (see “We Made You”)

I did a brief background check on Em’s past “verbal quarrels” and a majority of his opponents, well the rapping ones, haven’t been much of a threat. We have Ja Rule, Jermaine Dupri, Canibus and Benzino.

Lyrically, Canibus is the only one who poses the threat. Physically, well, I don’t think neither party (Em or the aforementioned artist) would take it that route.

Em’s lyrical track record speaks volumes, which is probably why a majority of hip hop’s elite wouldn’t attempt to tread those waters. But I’m curious- would Em? “We Made You”, Em’s first single from his new album, “Relapse” serves as a playful and malicious jab towards the foul ups of pop cultures head honchos. Of course we’ve been down this road with Marshall before, so in no way are we surprised….but where are the rappers?

Where’s Officer Ricky? Where’s Jeezy? Where’s T.I.? Where’s Jimmy? I mean it’s all fun and games right??? Anyway, here are 10 rappers Em PROBABLY wouldn’t throw a grape at. Agree? Disagree? Don’t care? Head to the comments section….IT’S THERE FOR A REASON!

8. The Game- Downing a bottle of Hennessy live onstage will distort your judgement in any given situation. And it’s PRETTY damn obvious Jayceon has a disdain for his own life, so I doubt he gives a FUDGE about Em’s.

7. Jadakiss- He dismantled Curtis Jackson single handedly and carries a box cutter to meet and greets. Pshhhhh, play if you want, Marshall.

6. Remy Ma- She cut her best friend for $300, so she’ll probably cut her LYRICAL opponent for much less.

5. Young Buck- I don’t care if he cried over the phone with snot hanging out his coke infested nose, that man shanked another human being at an awards ceremony.

50 Cent really breaks down where he’s from and how his business model got him caught up with dealing with Lil Wayne and Young Buck.

Since moving from LaFace to Atlantic, T.I. has enjoyed a string of success matched by few artists. While his current deal gives him the ability to sign acts to his Grand Hustle imprint, artists such as Big Kuntry and Young Dro have yet to attain a level of critical or commercial success anywhere near that of Tip. According to his recent interview with MTV, two additions to Grand Hustle–one rumored, and one very much in the preliminary phase–may change things.

“Killer Mike, on the other hand, I have been speaking to about connecting and moving forward professionally together,” T.I. tells MTV. “Mike is an outstanding lyricist and phenomenal talent and very intelligent individual. We get along very well. Always have. It’s a real organic fit.”

The move could further solidify a roster which was already bolstered by the signing of 8Ball & MJG earlier this year [click to read]. And, although it sounds like a bit of a long shot, there is a rumor circulating about another notable free agent possibly joining the Grand Hustle ranks.

“Buck is a personal partner of mine,” Tip added. “We’ve spoken, about a month or two ago, but we didn’t iron out no particulars. I would definitely be willing to speak to Buck about that, but I haven’t.”

Given the fact that Young Buck is still contractually obligated to honor his current G-Unit/Interscope deal [click to read], T.I. said the pair has kept their recent conversations limited to personal matters, as opposed to talking business.

“I haven’t even started the conversation with, ‘What would it take to get you over here,’” Tip said. “That’s just the conversation that’s been floating around the rumor mill. When I spoke to him, it was more, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ speaking as partners. We didn’t speak professionally. Just him making sure I was all right. Him asking me how I’m feeling, me asking the same of him.”
