AMEN Jmb. Half of these song are not on the radio anymore. Yet, to add, anything by Lil Wayne/ with him in it. Wezy needs an inhaler, poor guy sounds like a serious azthma attack.

Add anything from Young Money. The radio stations play their songs a few times an hour, which is y i try to stay away from the radio. Playing a song constantly isnt gonna make me like it anymore.

All of it! Anything pretty much hip-hop just sucks. I love my old-school! Thanks to my mom and dad for exposing me to REAL music. This music now-a-days is simply based on bragging, greed, and materialistic crap.

Music of today pretty much sucks! I prefer old school music, because music back then were REAL and fun to listen and dance too.

I’m sick of them. I’d also like to add Mary J, Beyonce, and Lil Wayne to the list. I turned to 3 different once and each one was play’n the same Drake song..I’m like damn. I listen to CD’s mostly with old school R&B or rap..or talk radio. It’s like the industry is try’n to brainwash folks.

Umm lets see…Is this a new generation of listeners with past generation DJ’s or is it ole school listeners with new school DJ’s??? In Chicago I got real mad when they bashed WNUA off the network for Jazz, R&B, Easy listening…ect to a HISPANIC station. Maybe this is something that has to be looked at from a different angle… I love music Hip Hop included but sometimes I think the songs played are geared towards the volume of listeners to specific types of songs. Now I wonder how they decide who the most frequent listeners are???

I never get tired of Usher, he’s a living legend for my generation
because he came out in the early 90s and has been doing his thing ever since. Not many artist will have longevity like Usher. For instance, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, and Trey Songz will not, I REPEAT WILL NOT BE LIVING LEGENDS. I doubt my child is going to grow up asking about Nicki Minaj 10 years from now, just like my generation who grew up in the 90s aren’t asking about singers/rappers that came out in the 90s who are no longer artist today.

LOL…LOL…Thank God, I stopped listening to the radio a long long long time ago, too much repetitiveness for me. Most of these songs are mundane and nonsensical any way…I keep it on Pandora where you can create your own station and control the songs you want to hear.

Can we get a day where they play nothing but throwbacks from the 80s and 90s please? Throwbacks for me is not music that came out two yrs ago. I miss KRS1, NWA, Guy, hell I’ll even take Debarge Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam Baby Face music that like. I’m very much into my old skool music but I like some of the music of today just tired of it over and over again.

Even if i turn the radio station the next station is playing the same song or one of those other songs!!!! So now I just put in a cd or listen Audio Books.. It’s like the radio stations dont know what it means to play different songs, or even try different artists… So many people feel the same way, and I think if they keep doing this a lot more people are going stop listening to the radio!!!
