Some time in between when men started wearing man-bags and bangs, the term “bromance” formed. A cross between brother and romance, a “bromance” is a relationship between two men that tap dances on the fine line of society’s “norms” of a male friendship.
The most suspect “bromances” usually occur when two individuals unexpectedly and inexplicably come together, such as 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather. Hip Hop and Boxing usually only cross paths when a rapper walks a fighter to the ring with a performance or at the gym when the fighter listens to their music for motivation. Most entertainers don’t wear their friends Championship belts like a high school girl wearing the Varsity jacket of her jock boyfriend with whom she is going steady.

It may be hard to grasp and accept the concept that two men can be so “close” and not be gay but it is very well possible! Times have changed, men embrace titles like “Metrosexual” and “bromance.”
So let’s look at some famous “bromances” that have brewed right in front our eyes.
Bow Wow & Omarion
Bow Wow and Omarion turned heads when they collaborated in 2007 on “Face Off” specifically when Omarion debuted his feminine hairstyle on 106 & Park. Their sexuality was questioned from there, and performing shows both bare chested didn’t help either. The album only sold 107,000 copies in it’s first week of release. Bow Wow’s b***y antics towards O on “Road To Platinum” also made fans believe that their friendship was more like a secret marriage!
Baby & Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne and Baby have one of the most questioned “bromances” of all. Wayne and Baby, on numerous occasions, have been seen kissing. While others may hide their affection, Wayne and Baby embrace it and assure us that it’s just how they show their love.
“The Big 3″
“The Big Three” which is a suspect title from the jump, consists of Dwayne Wade, Lebron James and “metro-sexual” Chris Bosh. While Lebron and Wade haven’t showed us much “suspect” behavior, Bosh makes-up for their lack of gestures. See below:

Jay and Kanye’s friendship turned into a “bromance” the day Beyonce announced her pregnancy on the 2011 VMA’s. He jumped into Hov’s arms (Ok maybe not “in his arms”) overjoyed at Bey’s barely there baby bump. The fact that they made great music together on Watch The Throne adds to their chemistry!
